Very disappointed. From recent reviews I had hoped this was going to be my new go to place but it's not. The veggie lo mein was not good. There's not many veggies and the veggies in it are odd compared to the veggie lo meins I typically receive. You can tell from the picture that the large wasn't even halfway filled. Not worth $10. I didn't like it enough to pay $4 for it. It's probably not going to get ate. The 1st picture is chicken w/cashews (half of what they served is on a plate and missing from the pic). Also not good, but more edible. The fried rice wasn't cooked enough as it was crunchy. The chicken was tiny, breaded, fried and overcooked. The more I ate, the more my mouth had the taste of fry oil, not the flavor of chicken w/cashews. Once I removed all of the fried chicken it was an improvement. Now it's veggies and cashews with fried rice. I should have made my own white rice, no comparing my rice with what they served. I will not be going back. The customer service was very good...
Read moreThey think they're better than they are. Probably because they are literally the only Chinese option in a ~10 mile radius. My biggest issue is their cocky attitude and unfriendly nature. They have weird hang-ups like they refused to sub brown sauce for the egg foo young gravy. Even when I offered to pay more or even add a side of brown sauce in addition to the gravy. They adamantly refused. Who refuses to sell a customer a cup of gravy? One time at about 4pm on a Sunday, they could not make egg foo young because they were out of eggs; but, there's a Tops market across the street. Why wouldn't you grab a few dozen eggs when it's that early in the day? Their food in general is "good." It used to be "great" 20-25 years ago, but I wouldn't rate it even in my top 3 now. Thankfully I'm in the Rochester area regularly so I plan my Chinese dinner days around when I'll...
Read moreThanks for the $10 onion curry that was supposed to be chicken curry. I took it back and the guy said chicken curry normally has lots of onions. I've eaten at tons of Chinese and Japanese places and never got ANY onions with my chicken curry. You can keep my money. You obviously need it way more than I do ya scammer.
The VERY few pieces of "chicken" in my onion curry looked and tasted like the fat you cut off of actual chicken. The pork fried rice had no pork in it. General tsos chicken tastes like soap and the egg rolls always taste like they've rotted before the fried them.
If I could give zero stars I would still be being generous. You have lost a customer that absolutely loves Chinese/Japanese foods and I hope you close your business. You guys used to of been amazing, and now I will never go there again. Zero stars. Enjoy...
