South Swell — Restaurant in Town of Babylon

Every time I’ve eaten here, the food has been delicious. The service on the other hand has been lacking. From me waiting for my food, just to go in and see that’s it’s been ready, but the woman who was supposed to bring my food was outside on her laptop, having a group talk session with her friends. Another incident, I called to place an order from my job and was put on hold. I left my job, arrived at south swell still on hold, then received a look of confusion from the woman behind the counter. I told her I was the person still on hold, she picked up the phone again, looked at it, and apologized. So instead of me enjoying my lunch, I’m going to have to rush back...

We were both in the mood for tacos but not that place with the bell. So a quick Google search brought us to the Marina. If you are looking for relaxed outdoor eating look no further. The place did look empty/closed while driving up, the inside is petite, but you are really going for the outdoors experience. Nice new tables and seating, a great south bay view . I ordered the shrimp and coconut fish taco. The shrimp taco was delicious. The coconut fish taco unfortunately was a big let down. Drenched in coconut sauce that I could not even taste the fish and messy. I would advice to dile it back because less is more...

I’ve been coming here since the day they opened. What a cool location right beside the water. All the food is prepared and made fresh. My favorite breakfast item is The Cali BEC. Because they’re located right on the water you can pull right up with your boat or jet ski as well. They do not have any indoor seating, but there is some outdoor seating. I’d highly recommend...
