Jerry's Inn — Restaurant in Town of Bainbridge

This cozy neighborhood dive bar was our go to spot for quite a while. On days me and my wife don't want to cook or whatever it may be, it was a nice little arrangement. The food was consistant, we could walk there, and the staff is usually friendly. The last few times we have gone though it has gradually declined to an unacceptable expierence.. the last few times we have chosen to go there the wait for food has been getting longer and this last Wednesday was just too far to return. We got there around 7 sat near the bar and ordered our usual drinks and settled in to wait for our dinner. The bartender was nice and made a stiff drink but she didn't make the drinks like the others. So consistency was right out first thing. 45 miutes passed, I stepped outside came back in 15 minutes later ordered another drink and asked about our food, and was told about 3 more minutes. A little later than usual but, going on with the declining trend. we chilled for a little longer and before you know it it was 30 minutes later and my wife was livid. I'm in The industry so I can keep a cooler head about this stuff and was paying our drink tab and the bartender asked me if we wanted the food if it was done. She came back a few moments later and said they were waiting on fries and I wasn't waiting another 2 minutes for food. She told us it was because the dining room was busy, but when we walked in most everybody was eating or was done. We also watched another guy who came to the bar and ordered there get his food in 20 minutes. I'm not sure if they lost our ticket or she neglected to put it up. But just to be clear I don't think that 45 minutes is an acceptable wait time even though after that we have gone back a few times. Let alone an hour and a half, three times what is acceptable in my opinion. consistancy has been the reason we kept coming back now we have no reason to dine there, let alone recommend it to anyone else. So…. My first time here …. I thought it was just a bar and didn’t know it was a restaurant. You walk right into the dining room and the bar is in the back. A good amount of people for the dinner crowd . Looking at the menu, and I was surprised to see that their menu was pretty much identical to every other restaurant I’ve eaten at in the Bainbridge / Afton area. I ordered burger, and was surprised to see the size (but size doesn’t always mean it’s good) This burger was fantastic! Huge patty, good roll, fried onion chips, bacon and BBQ sauce !! Shoestring fries came with it . I was impressed ! What I was t impressed with was the drunk guy at the bar yelling 4 letter profanity at the top of his lungs with a family dinner crowd present. No one asked him to keep it down or moderate his language. If I had young kids there … mark my words….THERE WOULD HAVE BEEN AN ISSUE !

Overall a decent place , our server “Kristen” was AWESOME !!!! Always there checking on us and making sure everything was perfect ! Such a great person !! I hope she is my only server , every time i come in !!!!

If they can tone down their bar patrons a little, it would have been a perfect visit...

Food was good. Service was bad. We had to wipe our own table off after bring told she would be right back to do it. My wings came out cold and then she never came back. I needed a new drink when she dropped our food and one of us had to get up and go ask for more drinks once everyone at the table needed one. She said to him that she forgot about us. A table of 6 adults. 1 of 2 tables in the place eating. She then brought drinks and then only returned again with the check. Very very sub par. It was a dead Tuesday night. We were her money. She looked right at my boyfriend and said she forgot about us. Seriously! No...
