Beaver Saloon — Restaurant in Town of Beaver

My friend and I went in to the Beaver Saloon on Fri 16th. We saw the sign that they had fish and thought we would get a quick bite to eat. When we first walked in the bar, it seemed like it was good. There was three bartenders behind the bar and not a lot of people. So we were trying to find a place to eat. We looked in the back room. It was empty and thought. I noticed that there was a wall with some really funny sweatshirts on and I stood at the end of the bar for a good 5 minutes before someone even did knowledge I was there and I let them know that I wanted to get a couple of a t-shirts or sweatshirts. She did help me with that right away and found the ones that we wanted I asked her if I could just pay for it when we got done eating and put it on our food bill and she said yes.. So we end up sitting at a table in front of the bar. From this point forward, No one even looked at us. We sat there for almost 10 minutes without even getting a hello or anything and finally had to ask another customer if they served at the tables and was told yes they come to you. We waited a couple more minutes and then my friend went up to the bar to at least get us the drinks and let them know that we were going to be ordering food. Then we waited another 15 minutes or so before my friend asks. Are you going to take our order? Lady said yeah we'll be right over there which was about 5 minutes later. Again remember there is three people behind the bar. So we order our food and after 45 minutes looked at another couple sitting across and said are you still waiting for your food? They said yeah. It's been over an hour. Finally my friend goes up and said what is going on and the lady claims that there was a big table in the back that and they only had one cook. I found it a little funny that with three bartenders one couldn't have helped the person in the back. I'm assuming manager or owner came up to our table apologized, which was great but she claimed that there was a big order that they were trying to take care of and that that is what was causing the delay. Yet one of the bartenders was at the bar playing rock paper scissor scissors with one of the regulars at the bar. I just think the use of time was not great. Finally we just told them we wanted our food to go because our dogs had been in the camper for about 2-3 hours. Waiting for us to get back to them. You for sure. Didn't think we were going to be there for about 2 hours. She think gives us a bill which is over $100. That kind of put a sticker shock on us and I don't think that they even offered us a discount due to the long wait. I will say that when we got back to the camper the food was delicious so I'll give them that but their service...

PLEASE READ BEFORE GOING TO THIS ESTABLISHMENT. NOTE: I barely, if ever, leave reviews but I was so disgusted with the service and feel it is necessary. First off, WATCH YOUR BILL, they are LOCALLY KNOWN to double charge you for your drinks! I gave them a chance DESPITE the many warnings I was given. Unfortunately I was proven wrong and was talked down too when I questioned my bill, the bartender raised his voice to me and made me feel dumb in front of other people in the bar, DESPITE being RIGHT and him being WRONG! I will never, ever, go back there, I have done his job for many years, I know it is tough to be in customer service, but I HAVE NEVER talked to ANYONE like I was talked to today! I work locally and my family are weekly customers of this place and they will no longer be back, We all work in local customer service and will be spreading the word of the quality of service we received. PSA for anyone considering going there we watched the same bartender wipe the sweat off his forehead and not two minutes later get the BIRTHDAY girl next to me olives for her drink with the same hand he just wiped his sweat with, no one, not even the birthday girl was spared, from the terrible, honestly disgusting,...
