Raymee's Pizza & Deli - Pasta and More! — Restaurant in Town of Beekman

Family member called in an order for two pies, and was given an estimated wait time. After waiting, went to Raymee's to pick up the pies and the lady at the POS system couldn't find my order. She asked the 2 gentlemen working several times where the pizzas were, but everyone seemed confused. She said she remembers taking the order from my family member, but after doing something on a different computer system, she was able to print my ticket and said the order would be a few more minutes. At this time I realized that they never even sent my order to the kitchen, and they were going to began preparing it right then.

Now I can't say if they were busy or not with deliveries, but I do know I was the only customer inside. At this time, I went out to go wait in my vehicle, as I did not want to be awkwardly looked at by the staff more than I already had.

After maybe 10-15 moments, a man came and knocked on my car. I opened my door, and the man simply said "Come on." I said excuse me, to which he responded by saying "Please come on" I thought that was kind of rude, but I didn't want more of an issue than I was already presented with, so I followed him inside.

At this time, he did apologize for the issue, blamed the POS system and said it doesn't always work properly. He then said that I was keeping THEM late!! I asked what he meant, and he said that they were standing there waiting for me to come back in and I was holding them after the close. Now, I thought this comment was ridiculous and unnecessary to say to a paying customer, so I responded by saying "Funny how that works, you made me late too". He again stated that the computers don't work properly and charged me for only 1 of the 2 pizzas I ordered. At this point, the older man is cashing me out, while the original female cashier and a younger man are standing watching the interaction.

The whole interaction was uncomfortable, and I know I will never return here. What was a simple mistake on their side quickly turned worse due to their poor customer service, lack of attention to detail, and passive aggressiveness at the end of the transaction. To blame a customer for making you stay late when you guys messed up is crazy!! Thanks...

I called to place an order friday the girl who answered was extremely rude. Told me to figure it out with an attitude when I asked about the chicken marcel or parm what was better ,like I was disrupting her by wanting to order I had to repeat over an over to her what I wanted like she was intentionally not listening .So I came in to pick up an the girl was eating something that particles of food spit out when she was talking while picking her nose my daughter wanted a slice an asked the older man that was just taken money .Then he put his dirty hands on the slice that my daughter just ordered not to mention the long hair on it.I'm guessing from the girl behind the counter with her hair a mess I do not know what happened to the woman who used to take my orders the one with the black hair she was always there she was never rude an never touched the food with dirty hands always had her hair pulled up.This place can not seem to hold on to good help an the new faces are rude an nasty the place used to always be clean an now it's dirty that other woman used to clean everything she never stopped . so my daughter went to use the bathroom there was pee on the floor an toilet seat dirty everywhere garbage overflow with toilet paper on the floor I went to let the woman know an she turned her back to me when I was trying to tell her as if she did not care ,told me yeah yeah ok. The older man is just as rude as the new faces , his foul mouth I could go on for hours about how bad this place is now went from great to terrible in just a short time. Late review since I’ve last had Raymees about 2 months ago- The food is very good (for the area) if you know what I mean. I had the chicken scarpriello and asked for no mushrooms which was not an issue. My girlfriend had the chicken francese as it’s her favorite dish and it was perfection (in her own words!). When we arrived to pick up the food, I saw they had jalapeño poppers for an appetizer and I asked the lady behind the counter if I could add it to my order if it isn’t too late which I was told it wasn’t an issue whatsoever and they’ll be ready in 5-10 minutes. The lady behind the counter and the older fellow (sorry I don’t know the names of the staff) who was making pizzas were nothing but nice to me and my girlfriend when we arrived. Greeted us when we walked in; said thank you and take care on the way out. Working in a restaurant myself, they made us feel like family and it was our first time ordering from Raymees. Whenever I’m in the area I will always make it a priority to step into Raymees, even if it’s for a simple cheese slice. To the staff- thank you and keep up the great work! Will be seeing...
