Everything on the menu looks and sounds amazing...I'm sure that some of it is.
The lobster fries were good, but clumps of lobster on french fries with some lemon mayo isn't too hard to pull off
As for something that takes some finesse 3 of us ordered the Seafood Pot Pie based on the description.
There is no place on earth that it should be described as a "Velvety Newburgh" sauce.. in reality it was some gloopy corn starch butter mixture.. (think of like an egg drop soup texture). The"vegetable medley" was clearly a bag of frozen beans, carrots and corn that you can get in any freezer section for $1. Then there was a square of puff pastry plopped on top, one of which didn't even puff. I dug out 3 shrimp and 2 scallops from the slop sauce.
Those were $30 a pop, it was very disappointing for the trip we took that was almost an hour drive to get a fancy dinner.
The location is great, I can see getting off a boat and ordering some drinks and fried apps and having a good time, but for some expensive upscale seafood it fell very short regardless of how casual an...
Read moreHonestly the worst restaurant experience i've ever encountered in my life. (we went there for sunday brunch). Our server was rude and not present at all, she brought plates and plates of half of the food and didn't bother getting the empty ones out of the way, no water refills or coffee, didn't give service at all and didn't bother to ask if we needed anything. She brought the bills and i wasn't even done eating. Refused to give us the receipts (telling us she couldn't print them with Square which is not true, I work with this platform and i know how it works). We we're forced to give 20% tip because we we're six. The food wasn't good, my boyfriend got the toast and they litterally brought untoasted bread to him and my friend. We are really disappointed because we have a boat at this marina and it wouldve been nice to actually have a good restaurant and service at the marina dinner. If you're thinking about eating there, don't. Plenty of good dinners around, avoid the overpriced food that isn't that good (brunch) and the bad service....
Read moreI wish I took photos to show you how good this restaurant is. We ate outside on a beautiful evening overlooking the harbor. The drinks and food were terrific, with the added bonus of enjoyable live music. I don't remember the musician, but he was a one-man band, and his performance added a nice ambiance to the evening. The manager stopped by to ensure that we were happy with our meal. We stated the drinks, appetizers, main course, dinner, dessert was spectacular, and this was accentuated by our terrific server Micere. Micere, thank you for presenting us a great meal. We will definitely be...
