Udder Delight Dairy Shop — Restaurant in Town of Beekmantown

I usually stop here twice a week to get ice cream etc. They have a sign that says grill closes 1hr to closing time. Which on this monday night 07/18/22 they close at 830p which means they should shut the grill down at 730p. I showed up at 7p an only wanted 2 michigans. Plus i bought a couple ice creams for my kids. The young lady asks.the girl in the back if they can make a couple michigans.which she replies no. Been twice in a week. Very nice banana split in a bowl, with sliced banana, chocolate and vanilla custard, pineapple and strawberry toppings, hot fudge, whipped cream, nuts, and cherry. An excellent concoction. I don't know why, but the places around here seem to make their toppings fresh. Maybe it just tastes that way, but I love the fruit without overwhelming sugary syrup! Whatever you're doing, keep it up!

I also like that they seem to have some high school or college kids working. They're efficient, too....

So my biggest complaint. I'm a banana split guy. They don't give you a traditional banana split. It's a banana sunday at best. Banana split comes in a boat, not a bowl. I absolutely despise ordering a banana split and being handed a bowl. Maybe I'm old school. The ice cream is good. I just don't appreciate this practice when it comes to such a traditional ice cream treat. It's like ordering and ice cream sandwich and just getting it all mixed and thrown in a bowl, not what...
