JP's Sports Bar — Restaurant in Town of Belle Plaine

As we walked in the front door, my friends and myself were greeted with such a friendly staff. We were seated right away, even though there was a busy crowd. The menu was full of tempting food items. I love that they serve breakfast all day long. The waitress was very attentive to our order. I ordered the swiss mushroom burger without the bun and passed on the fries. Well this lovely waitress returned and asked if I wanted to have a replacement item. I chose a soup( chili). Everything tasted beyond good. The burger was beautiful placed with a leaf of lettuce and the chili was really warm, just right temperature. This meal was beyond grand. We have tried most dining options in Shawano but for some reason we hadn't tried this one. I'm glad we did. Service was initially very sloooow. We walked in the bar and there were several employees standing or sitting in the bar eating. I was hoping one of them might be on the clock but no.... eventually someone came from the other room and took our order. Things improved from that point on. Philly Steak was delicious, as was the Burger with cheese bacon and onion rings but the star of the show was the fresh made potato chips. Easily the best I've ever had. I think I would go back...

Horrible service the night we had gone food came out at all different times and there was only 2 other tables. Waitress explained that my sons food was given to the table and that they were making a fresh plate for him. His food came out and I was still waiting on my meal. The waitress never would've noticed that my meal also hadn't come had I not said anything myself. After talking with management about our experience I was supposed to be refunded, well its been over a month and multiple attempts I've been ghosted. I wouldn't suggest anyone...
