Ralph & Rosie Delicatessen — Restaurant in Town of Bergen

Called to make an order on 9/23.. The young lady who answered the phone immediately said "there's one called ahead, can you please hold?" Not a problem.. About 7 minutes later she answers the line again "Thank you for calling Ralph and Rosies, you have two callers ahead of you, do you mind holding?"

What? No. Now I do mind.. We pointed out kindly that we had been on hold for a bit and were told that there was one called ahead of us.. Now there's two? She stammered and said "Uh.. Well.. Uhm.. Please hold.." about a minute and a half later she took our order.

It was simple. Large cheese pizza with half pepperoni, medium country sweet pizza and a order of mild wings. They said it would be ready in a half an hour. No biggie. Glad it was ordered as we normally only get out this way for Ralph and Rosies twice a year.

I showed up a little after the half an hour ready period.. Waited in line for about 6 minutes for them to cash out two customers. Once I got up and paid for my order the cashier walked to the back and came back to me and said, "It will just be a minute until your food is ready.."

Alright, that is fine.. I get it.. 30 minutes is an estimate give or take a few minutes..

Nope.. I had to wait almost 20 more minutes before my food was ready. It was to a point where and employee came out from the kitchen and asked me what I was waiting for. When I told him my order he just looked at me and said, "Oh.."

To top it all off, the food ended up getting us sick after just two pieces. My wife and I have been getting sick since we ate your undercooked, poor excuse for a pizza. Thankfully our children refused to eat the pizza and are peacefully resting in their beds while we are getting sick.

After all these years of being a customer of your establishment, coming out of our way to get a slice of pie for the memories, we are done. Three kids should not be in charge of a store like that. Especially when quality and customer service are sacrificed for...

Very disappointed with the order I received today. I purchased their large special and had asked for pepperoni on the whole pizza and received only half the pizza with pepperoni even after double checking with the person on the phone.

Also ordered mushrooms on half and they were basically all on one slice the others in the half were almost bare. Another thing that was missing was the sweet sauce. There seemed to be very little on the pizza which was extremely disappointing as it's the best part of the pizza.

Chicken wings were very good which was a out the only upside of the whole order

Unfortunately did not notice these things until I had brought the pizza home which is a out 30 minutes away and did not want to waste the time going back. This purchase was made 3 hours before closing so I don't see any reason why any of this should have happened.

Needless to say I will not be returning unless major things are changed or I am compensated after years of loving the pizza...

Used to be excited to get Ralph and Rosie’s pizza, but it’s clearly gone downhill in recent months. I get that your slogan is “within the hour” for pizza delivery, but most people will understand if you get slammed. Please don’t say “within the hour” if you know it won’t be delivered for over 2 hours. Or maybe suggest pickup if you can’t deliver within the hour. Waiting 2hrs for a pizza might have been worth it, but the pizza we got delivered tonight was definitely 2 hours old. I could’ve gotten a better pizza from Crosby’s. Not to mention the last time we ordered, it was also late, and the time before that, they only brought the wings for our order and not the pizza. Then had to drive back, get our pizza and re-deliver. Please get your stuff together so we can continue enjoying...
