Reccomend from a few people while visiting Bethel Woods. Walked in with 4 people and didn't realize that sitting was outside and bar had several stools so we stood there waiting for the bartender or someone to direct us but no one even acknowledged us. So we asked the bartender who was looking at us from the start,where we should sit and her response was it's a bar... well so much for the friendly reviews, we walked out. Great place to grab a drink after a day exploring the area, or before the parking lots open for a concert at Bethel Woods. It does get crowded on concert days, so I recommend visiting when there is no concert at Bethel Woods, for the full Hector's experience. The family that runs it makes you feel like an old friend. I've gone in with blacks, hispanics and even Irish and have been treated warmly. This place is a local legend.
