At the end of a weekend celebrating a friend’s wedding we were looking for somewhere we could enjoy our last dinner in the Catskills and were recommended BF&F by our Airbnb host. If you’ve ever travelled in Italy, BF&F’s model seems to be akin to an Agriturismo. Local ingredients prepared with minimum fuss and maximum taste. Absolutely delicious. All washed down with refreshing local beers and ales. We came in June where they have summer service Fri-Sat (turn up, no booking required), with outside seating available too). This changes in the winter months to a bookable sit-down meal on one day only. Elizabeth and Jacob were fantastic hosts - we’d recommend a visit, whenever you’re in the area.

Unto its own. Special and worth driving out or your way. Arrive, park, exhale and enter into an architectural Folk Art painting. Plus the food matches the specialness. Roasted garlic. Snap peas fresh off the vine. Local artisan breads. Fresh mint custard. Cherry cake. Craft beers. After a relaxing meal, drift down the slope to visit the lambs. Catskills treasure.

We had a great afternoon/evening here at a Saturday picnic. A couple, one not necessarily beer fan- had a great time and excellent picnic meal here. Our Saturday picnic turned out to be breezy w showers so we wound up in indoors. It’s a delightful space w wonderful food and ambience. We’ll be back..

WHEW! What a weekend! We arrived on Friday to the sweetest surprise—a homemade berry galette from Elizabeth and Jake, and it was absolutely delicious. The room we stayed in was cozy and beautifully decorated, full of thoughtful little details. The next morning, we woke up to the mouthwatering smell of pancakes drifting through the house. There was no way we could stay in bed—we had to join their breakfast right away! We also joined dinner outdoors. Everything was made with ingredients from the local farmers market. I even enjoyed the beer—which is saying a lot, since I don’t usually drink it! But how could I not try it when Jake brews it himself right in the house? It was a truly unforgettable experience. We’ll definitely be back...

We just stayed at Bovina Farm & Fermentory and it was perfect getaway. I am feeling more relaxed and restored than I've felt in years! It was just a quick weekend trip but the ultimate reset. ||Every detail of our stay was intentional and perfectly executed, from the beautifully designed room to the thoughtful afternoon sweet treat to the incredible summer dinner party. Despite being a very early inn guest, it really felt like the team has been operating an inn for years. The food was incredibly delicious — even the simplest scone was literally the perfect bite. The beer & wine selection is also incredible. ||We will 100000% be returning and telling all of our friends to visit too. Thank you for such a...
