me and my boss, stopped in for a couple of beers after work, in an empty parking lot the bartender had a standoffish and condescending attitude in general. we waited ten minutes after finishing our first beer. She said "are you guys done here" then we said no we like two more beers please, She copped an attitude, and said " you need to park your truck and trailer across the road" we asked if it was private property, she said she didn't know. than my boss said I will move my truck out of the 5 parking spot you say we are taking up.He walked back in and said here are your 2 parking spots. And she argued back " I been working here for years and seen 5 cars park there" There was no thank you, she ran back and told the owner that he didn't park across the road. The owner came and spoke with us and we told her that her bartender is rude obnoxious, condescending, and wants to argue with anyone who walks in that bar that's not a local and there to eat. amongst eachother we said would tell all our friends at Paul Smith's college of the bartenders unprofessional attitude and service. Then she runs up takes are beers that we where still drinking from the bar and yells " Tell all your friends my names Mina you guys are cut off I will never serve you again" To the Owner: your bartender is the most unprofessional bartender we have ever seen in are lives anywhere. Yes, nice turn out for Thursday night locals night, but how long do you think those locals can keep your business a float? Not long. If you had a personable bartender, maybe the non local businesses would allow you to paint your windows and doors, reside the building, and maybe even mow and wweed-wack the property. Hell, you may even be able to increase your parking space. Your establishment is disgustingly dirty, I am sure it's infested with mice, and question if it even up to health code. BTW, we will tell ALL our friends at Paul Smith's college. To all the nonnon-locals thinking of going here: Dirty Dive bartended by redneck, uneducated,...

Original Post from 3 years ago: Shamrock has good food and is worth the wait. If you have to be in a rush you might want to call in your order in advance for pick-up. On the menu itself it informs patrons that everything is made to order by one fabulous cook. Don't worry though! =) You can socialize (every time we go here we meet other friendly patrons), play songs from the jukebox, and/or play pool while you are waiting! If you haven't been here yet you...
Read moreCant say enough great things about The Shamrock. The woman who runs the front is a machine! Shes happy, courteous, fun loving and an all around great person. The other part of this Gemini perfection is the amazing woman in the kitchen making consistent, delicious, generous portions for the customers. We go once a year and are always remembered. Dont be in a hurry, things are done correctly here with alot of care. You haven't been forgotten if things seem a little slow paced. She is busy giving her EXCEPTIONAL attention to EVERYONE!! Cant reccomend it highly enough. A highlight evening to our annual trip to Hoel Pond...
