Beaver Den Diner — Restaurant in Town of Brookfield

Most of the time when I go to a local Diner the food is just alright. Most likely because there isn't any competition around. And in turn they never have to improve or even serve anything more then passable food.

So I'm delighted to report that this is the exception to my expectation. The food here was wonderful. I only had breakfast so can't comment on their lunch, dinner or dessert, but the breakfast was delicious. I had the meat lovers omelet with a side of cornbeef hash and everything was great.

I will definitely try to return in the future to try their lunchs, dinners...

I didn't take any photos because I didn't even want to share this hidden gem of a diner. I cannot even remember the last time I had such a great breakfast at a diner. The food was fresh and homemade, not at all out of a can nor industrially produced. I enjoyed the sausage gravy biscuits, others in our party had pancakes, French toast and omelettes. All the dishes were plentiful and delectable. The place is for sale so I intend on returning as many times as possible before that happens because I don't know that it will...

We went today for the chicken bbq, chicken was good but small for the price ! Chicken is cheap right now and while I don't mind paying for the service ,$12 is a bit much for such a small half and small sides , three tiny salt potatoes and not much more than a tablespoon of beans and coleslaw, roll and no dessert .
