Brook House Pizza and Grill — Restaurant in Town of Brookhaven

Went up one star only because I genuinely enjoyed the pizza I ordered. HOWEVER... for one hero sandwich and two slices of pizza to be warmed up took 25 minutes! If I hadn’t paid already, I 100% would’ve left without the food. Same day I went Jim’s Deli down the street for a different hero sandwich for my fiancé and his was ready in 5 minutes and was delicious. I wanted to give Brook House another shot after hearing it was under new ownership and I do think their menu and prices haven’t gotten a lot better than previous owners but there’s NO reason I had to wait that long for one sandwich and warmed up pizza when it wasn’t even that busy. I understand they receive a lot of call in orders but customers that are present in the deli should always be priority. I originally had ordered two slices of pizza but was only given one and when I reminded the girl i ordered two she said oh well i only charged you for one. Ok sooooo charge for the second one i ordered and please give it to me. After the 25 minute wait i opted to receive the second slice cold and not heated bc i was tired of waiting and just wanted to get the hell out of there. My fiancé was really losing his patience waiting and getting pissedThe young staff are pleasant enough but lack organization and speed required to keep up with the rush. Gotta hustle kids. Sadly this was my last attempt at eating at Brook House. My business will continue to go to John at Jim’s Deli without hesitation. It may not be as fancy with all the rustic decor Brook House has but the service, food and prices will always outshine...

Absolutely terrible in every category they can be rated. Food is always disgusting, that is if you even get the right order. The staff is beyond rude, not just once but every time I go in there. I only go there when Jims deli is closed and I say “hey let’s give this place another chance.” Without fail each time they let us down. Once they forgot half our order that we paid for and we didn’t realize until we got home. Another time I was greeted but what I can only discribe as the worlds worst employee, the attitude on this girl and the way she spoke to me was atrocious. Very unorganized as a whole, today I was The only one in there when I ordered as I waited for a good 15 minutes for 2 breakfast sandwiches more people came in and ordered. As people who came in after me left before me I finally ask what is taking my order so long. The girl grabs my bag from behind her and says here it’s ready, I asked how long has that been sitting there. She blatantly lies and says they just finished it. I was watching them the whole time. She should have apologized and said “I am so sorry they must not have realized it was finished” instead of thinking I was some idiot and wasn’t watching them. I can continue with negative reviews but will stop here. Gave them too many chances and they never got it right. Loyal Jims fans, at least there they know our names and greet us and say hi...

I was really impressed the moment I walked into then brook house deli. First off when you think of a traditional "deli" I think dark/no place to sit and eat/grab and go. These characteristics could not be further from the words I would use to describe the brook house. The interior is impeccably decorated, from white washed wood work, to custom made counter tops, topiaries, orchids and hydrangeas adorning the tables and counters, with white picnic tables for my family to sit and enjoy a breakfast out on a Saturday morning. The decor and atompshere really makes for an elevated dining experience! Not to mention the place is spotless & clean, not like most other breakfast joints or delis around.

The food selection was impressive. The staff was educated on the menu and courteous. The food arrived to our table hot off the grill and in a timely manner. Besides your regular breakfast items such as eggs sandwiches they also have omlettes, pancakes, French toast and all other assortments of breakfast foods. You can tell the ingredients they use are top notch too.

The lunch sandwiches also looked so delicious we couldn't resist ordering one to bring to the beach later today. We 💜 the brook house deli and will...
