Awful. Just awful. For starters, their "Kiddie" size is $3.19 which is outrageous, and this size is also just one singular scoop of ice cream. That's right. Just one scoop… let that sink in. As a chemist myself, I know that a gallon of ice cream can be made for less than $4, and the customer service is less than average in performance, I was rushed to order.
In the back, they have a little playground for kids, but 90% of everything back there is made out of wood (and believe it or not, I did the math for this) and being that almost everything is made out of wood, this makes it easy for kids to slip. Little known fact, there's this wooden thing called a skateboard that puts this magical substance called "grip tape" over their wood. Maybe you should do the same thing before a kid slips, oh wait. Too late, a girl left moxie's today with scrapes and cuts all along her armpit, ribs, stomach, arm, leg and her fingers. Might be a great idea to start using that magical substance soon before you end up with a lawsuit on your hands.
I don't know how they're still in business, if this ice cream shop was put into a city, they'd be gone in the morning before they can even yawn. Just a little tip, go somewhere else, and I also forgot to mention, THEY DO NOT ACCEPT CREDIT CARDS, BUT THEY'LL GLADLY TAKE SOMETHING AS COLLATERAL, THEY OFFERED TO TAKE MY WALLET OR MY PHONE… UH,...
Read moreI went to Moxie's for the first time tonight with a few friends and it will be my last. The high school aged employee greeted us and was extremely sweet. She explained the flavors and answered our questions. Unfortunately she was also degraded, demeaned, and micromanaged by the owner the entire time. The owner yelled at her upon our arrival and told her to "look busy" even though she was clearly about to serve us. The owner then made fun of her for saying the wrong term when asking if we wanted our ice cream in a cone or cup and humiliated her. It was so hard to watch and the environment was so hostile because of the owner. When we asked if they accepted tips, the owner was extremely rude and condescending toward us, saying they did not accept them. Lastly, when the poor girl was handing me the chance, the owner was forcing her to count out every coin and then counting over her. It was so odd. I will never go back and I will be sharing this experience with every friend and family member I know. Let this be a lesson to the owner to treat people, especially her employees,...
Read moreBRING CASH!!! Pulling up I thought it was a very cute ice cream shop with a great playground for families with kids. They do have a large selection of unique ice cream flavors, but they’re missing the staple ones (cookies and cream, cookie dough, etc). We taste tested a few flavors and ordered but ended up disappointed in the small scoop sizes for the price. We go to A LOT of ice cream shops and they weren’t very decent sized scoops at all. And, after ordering, somebody walked up behind us and said “oh it’s cash only.” Which was a shock to us as we’d already ordered and didn’t realize this. Thankfully I was able to find some in the car; however with their overwhelming amount of hand written signs with flavors etc we missed the ONE small sign saying “cash only” on the window we didn’t even order at (there’s 4 windows to walk up to and it was on one furthest from the main parking lot). Overall - disappointed in this ice cream shop. I really wanted to love it, but there’s some other better ones in the...
