My recent visit to McDonald's in Wolcott, NY, left me with mixed feelings. While the food was acceptable, the service fell short of expectations, resulting in a less-than-satisfactory dining experience.
Upon entering, we encountered slow service, which was further compounded by an unfortunate mix-up where our food was mistakenly handed to another customer. It was evident that the staff member responsible for the error was eager to go on break and appeared hurried in their actions, neglecting attention to detail.
To make matters worse, we had to inquire about our drinks after standing in line again, highlighting a lack of attentiveness from the staff. The option to order food at the kiosk was appreciated for its efficiency, but the overall experience lacked the personal touch and warmth one would expect.

I told the employee at the window I would go inside and pay and pick up the order. I was angry that the app didn't work, but worse was when I went inside to pay. Waited 5 minutes for someone to come to wait on me. Then when I told the employee I was there to pick up and pay for my order, she told me to wait a minute and left again. After waiting another few minutes, a male employee came over. I asked for my order and he made a remark that I didn't pay for it. I was trying to pay for it and pick up my order so being a smart mouth wasn't a good idea. I explained that the app didn't work and I was there to pay. I then asked if they had the order. He made a huge production with throwing his hands in the air and then yelled "hey bro not my fault". I'm a 62 year old woman and not his bro. So I left. This is my go to order when I want the jolt of the espresso. But I mask it with the large caramel frappe because I hate the taste of coffee. So, I know it doesn't actually fit.
You don't dump the difference, make it fit, and call it a large frappe with two shots of espresso while charging full price. Which I expected to and did pay for. With "please and thank you's".
You make the order as requested, fix it when it's been addressed as incorrect, and we part ways. You having completed the service. Me with the product I requested. When you keep part of the product or don't make it correctly. It's problematic.
