Springbrook Tavern — Restaurant in Town of Caledonia

Horrible service. We had a party of 6 and didn’t even get drinks for over 20 minutes. Waitress only came to check on us once in which we asked for refills and waited another 15 minutes for those. Food was finally brought out an hour and 15 minutes after our order being taken. Owner came out to apologize stating she was the only one in the kitchen and couldn’t keep up with the orders. Restaurant had only 4 tables of customers. If you are that short staffed either communicate it with patrons or make an executive decision to close. We recently used Springbrook Tavern for a work reception and were so pleased with how smooth the evening went. Due to party size we placed special food orders and owner Jake was great in accommodating dietary restrictions. I had chicken fingers and fries, I was expecting a few 5-8 small slices of chicken.I got enough to fill up and had some to take home, the fries were crisp and plentiful. The only thing I would liked was a thicker sauce to put on the fries. I will return and try some other items out in a few weeks.
