Very busy place. I'm not a fan of the set up. You have to Order at the bar and wait at the bar till they tell you it's ready. It's too crowded, hard to order & you get run into a lot while waiting. Noticed when leaving there were two bars, both very crowded.
Meat was very good- seasoned well and came out cooked correctly. Definitely recommend the steak. Price was great too on the Sirloin for two- best price I've seen in a long time & you do get a lot with it...
Worst part of the meal was the Broccoli. It was awful & not sure if it was just over cooked or what, but it was NOT good- almost rubbery. Flavor was off too. Favorite veggie was not edible here, kids refused to eat it & they normally try to steal mine.
Order came out correct at least as far as anything we asked to have off was off of the plate- which is not something that happens often correctly.
Getting drinks & condiments at the table was more difficult than we would have liked, had to flag someone down after 10 minutes for ketchup for my kids burger after asking for it immediately, surprised a burger didn't have anything on the plate at least, & my husband waited till the end of the meal till he finally got water, he & I were going to order a drink but that didn't happen. I'd suggest going to the bar if you need more to drink. But know you must pay for your drinks at the bar before heading to your table.
Bread is served cold, that was just disappointing, taste was good but don't plan to melt butter on it.
Server did have a candle lit for my kid's birthday which was nice on the desert we ordered. Taste was very good. The chocolate and caramel cake was worth getting.
Ups and downs here. Would it stop me from going a second time, no. But I would order differently as far as sides go and ask for pitchers of water immediately. Really they should just have them set up at the tables right away IMO with how busy they are, it would make the flow of things go better. But that's my opinion from having been a server in the...
Read moreWe went out here for a belated birthday/Valentines dinner and we were impressed. It was very busy when we walked in, we even heard bartenders say they weren't expecting it. We took a seat at the bar, but it took about 15 minutes for us to be asked what we wanted to drink - people who walked in and who have already had drinks were being served before we were, and all bartenders made eye contact with us, so that was a bit disappointing. I've worked in hospitality for years - so being attentive to new guests is just as important as making sure your other guests are happy. After we got our drinks, we placed our order with the waitress, and waited for a table to open. It was pretty quick for how busy they were. When we got to the table, the waitress brought us more drinks and our salads, it was nice and refreshing. My husband and I both ordered the ribeye steaks (him, the larger and I the petite) which were a great size for the price, along with our side dishes. We both had mushrooms and onions on top. It is VERY hard to make a good steak at a restaurant in my opinion - most seem bland and flavorless, but not these ones! Each bite was packed with delicious flavor, and it was hands down the best steak I've ever had at a restaurant. Our waitress was nice, and asked us if we needed anything else quite a bit. Overall, we were both pleased with our meals. I will definitely come back for...
