Tommy J's — Restaurant in Town of Calumet

The bar food we had was cooked to perfection. The corned beef in the Reuben sandwich was very tender and the bread/rye perfectly grilled to a just-right crunchiness. The burgers on the Sheboygan rolls were also very tasty and seemed to be made from a good cut of hamburger. We also liked the crispy French fries and deep fried green beans (needed some veggies other than sauerkraut and grilled onions😊).

Food was amazing!! We were the only 3 people in the bar for about 15 minutes. We made the comment on how hungry we all were. The bartender says to me "Well Princess what can I get for you" After shift change I needed another drink, I had to wait about 5 minutes because this bartender was busy talking with the cook. Looking back, we had a great time at Tommy J's. The food was really delicious, the other patrons were great to talk with and the facility was clean. Kelly, the bartender/chef/waitress was quick with the drinks and food. Her attitude and seeming disdain for our existence in the bar was off-putting at first, but kind of endearing by the end of our visit.
