River Rats Bar & Grill — Restaurant in Town of Campbell

Stopped in here after a long day on the road, I searched it out because it absolutely looked like my kind of place and the food looked good. The atmosphere and the location is great... The service was not. When we walked in there was maybe 15 people inside and out, the bartender was on his phone. It took nearly 20 minutes to get acknowledged for drinks, it seemed that maybe they were having some technical difficulties understandable. The rest of the staff was just hanging out and chatting, I guess was shift change, but overall that added to the difficulty getting drinks. We had hung out for one round and were so looking forward to eating because the menu looked amazing. After difficulty getting more drinks even as the customer base died out we ultimately decided to try it another time and went to pay. They wanted to charge twice for a beer that I had already paid for, after clearing that up we decided to leave and go elsewhere... I would love to try this place again and maybe get to eat here next time i am in the area but the service will have to be alot better. I would have hung out all evening after eating a meal the night...

The bartender/ server that was working when we first arrived was excellent! Very friendly. Personable. They have games available to play which is pretty nice! Drinks were great. We ordered the tots which are huge golf ball sized hashbrown with cheese and bacon in the middle. So good! And the march madness rodeo burger, which was pretty solid. But then. We got served wings that were still bleeding. We got 2 orders, 4 flavors, so about 20 wings. My husband ate about 5 wings before I tried one and noticed it was a bit cold in the center. But the 2nd wing I tried was literally so raw blood was dripping out. My husband then noticed some of the wings he ate had blood on the pieces still on the bones. When I pointed it out to a second server that came by to offer us our bill, she took off the cost of one order of wings. So...

Took my 16 year old daughter there as it is down the street from my parents. It was a very slow night . We found a table and the bar tender basically told me what do you want. Didn't even give me a memu. I asked for menus and she rolled her eyes. We placed an order for wings (bone in) and river tots . I had to order at bar as she wouldn't come to table . Our food came .. river tots were amazing .. but the wings came boneless and like little hard rocks. It was disappointing and not what I ordered. Both me and daughter left disappointed. But what made me even more angry was even my recite said bone in wings ... and the attitude of the staff. I...
