Subway — Restaurant in Town of Canaan

not sure how isrealjohn smith has a job here, let alone is the shift manager. this is the second time now confirming he is by far the worst employee at this shop. honestly the only bad one everyone else has always been great. the first time there was a line of people isrealjohn went in the back and left one employee to handle the whole line. today i tell the lady what is going on the subs, isrealjohn starts to help and she tells him…mustard and mayo. he makes the subs i catch on the second one he didn’t put mayo so i say it’s suppose to get mayo too. isrealjohn in a rude tone says “ you only said mustard “ i replied no i didnt. isrealjohn scoffs and tells the cashier girl he need one of the subs back. 4 stars because this somehow shift manager is the only issue with this store. everyone else always a great job and are the reason this isn’t a one star review. especially my homie that usually works the midnight shift, sorry...

Soooo I have been to many many subways. Many many many of them. And generally I am not a fan. A sandwich is a sandwich.

But when you get the best service you've had on the road in years, you take note. Iz(rael) was professional, fast, and friendly. He repeated what I wanted to make sure he understood, made a couple joking comments, and overall was just over-the-top with service. I will be back to this subway. (And somehow the service makes the sandwich taste that much better).

To address the complaints here, perhaps some of the workers were having a hard day themselves. Or maybe you're just a Karen. Hard to say- I wasn't there. Our "sandwich artist" Iz started the experience off by not washing his hands. He pumped the soap out and immediately rinsed it off without scrubbing.
