A's Diner and Desserts — Restaurant in Town of Canandaigua

Have been going here for ice cream do a bit now but had b cer tried the food. My family and I decided to give it a try based on the reviews. I will start by saying that when we did get our food the flavor on my wife’s buffalo wrap was great, my patty melt tasted great. Unfortunately we ordered and it took 35 min to get the above and a grilled cheese with French fries for our son. When we ordered it was not very busy and there was only one family that had ordered prior to us and the rest of the customers were for ice cream. My sons grilled cheese was mad by putting a piece of cheese on either side and grilled like an open face sandwich. This made for a sandwich that I as not very great for my 3 yr old. Overall a 3 because I know that the food tasted great just was underwhelmed with the time it took, and presentation. Will Definitely visit for the ice cream as that turn around time...

I get a peanut butter milk shake, extra thick with extra peanut butter. It is perfect every time 😋 my kids have gotten hard flavors and also soft serve. I have had the flurries/razzles, a sundae (I don't remember which one) and ice cream- everything is delicious!

When we don't feel like cooking we order from here, we all enjoy the food. it's always ready in 20 minutes which is super convenient.

The prices have gone up, but so has everything else anywhere you go! I would rather spend my money for quality food (and service), locally, than go elsewhere where the price isn't much different...

Great little ice cream shop in Cheshire where there isn’t much else. Same owners as Sharks on 5 and 20 in Bloomfield NY but closer to where I live. I’ve cream is Giffords which is very good and they give you huge amounts. Get the kiddie or mini size! I’ve not eaten there so I can’t comment on the food. There’s always a line so others know it’s good too.

Worth a stop if you’re passing through on NY 21. And if you need some booze, Trowbridge is next door with a nice selection (and same owners as well). That’s why A’s can serve their...
