Another one of my honest, straightforward reviews! I had been to Moe's once before, about a year or two ago. Went for a plate of fried chicken on my first visit. It was okay. Small pieces; a little greasy. I figure any place can have a bad night. Anyway, I was in the area, on a Friday late afternoon, before he dinner rush, and since my favorite fish place just recently closed, thought I'd give Moe's another try. When I walked in, the bar stools were mostly full....about 20 of them, so I took one of the 2 open ones in the far back and ordered a diet soda. The lady asked if I needed a menu, and I said yes. But she didn't bring one. I had to ask again. Okay...so be it. Another 10 minutes went by.....no one to take my order. Again, I had to ask. Eight minutes later, I finally was able to order. I decided I would do like my neighboring bar patron at eat at the bar. Several of the people near me were waiting for tables, as they do not have many tables at this place, and were still waiting when I finally got my food, and were STILL waiting when I left! When the food was put in front of me, I had asked for a bunch of lemon wedges for my fish. There were but 3. I asked for salt and pepper and was ignored. I then shouted to a waitress who was 5 feet from me, and again was ignored. I was never offered to have my drink refilled. Nor did they even leave me a bill! Now, I wouldn't walk out without paying, so I calulated my $21 fish plate (double perch), soda ($2-3?) tax (5.5%) paid just over that amount in cash on the bar, and left. What was a bit disgusting was that many times, the two bartenders would be visiting with patrons they knew at the bar instead of doing their work! Two people should easily be able to make drinks for those at the bar. The food was okay. Needed seasoning, but I had double perch and potato salad. If one could actually get some service and the items they requested and needed, maybe I'd feel differently. But I'm 0 for 2 at this place. I don't mind paying for quality food and service, but if one is missing, I am not getting my money's worth. Place seems understaffed, but those who are there could do a much better job serving and do less visiting...especially if you have...
Read moreWe booked Moe’s Corner Catering for our wedding 10/5/2024. We decided on family style broasted chicken with mashed potatoes and gravy, corn, and dressing. The food was warm and the service was excellent. We had servers checking on tables 2-3x throughout the meal to make sure serving bowls were replenished. I also had asked if we could have special plates of salad for my vegetarian guests and baked chicken for my gluten free guests. Moe’s Corner Catering was super flexible and willing to work with us. We simply showed them on the seating chart where the guests with dietary restrictions were seated and they took it from there. Any leftover food and appetizers were placed in large to-go containers in the fridge and made for an excellent end of night snack. If you want affordable catering where you don’t have to question anything; this...

What you need to know: Cash Only!!!
-They take reservations but the waitresses looked at us funny both times we came after making them.
-You wait in the bar if you don't have reservations and a waitress may or may not come around to take your order.
-Their broasted cod and chicken are great but most of their sides are average at best.
-Family style chicken is all you can eat and they have a Cod option on Friday that is all you can eat.
-Wait staff was average or slightly below that each time I've gone.
Tonight's visit: Long wait. Some of our family style chicken meal was cold. Didn't have anything to drink when we started our meal, and condiments weren't brought out until the...
