Order over the phone as the online service was down for the Holiday weekend, and also found out that because the Dinner services do not start until 5:00PM I was unable to pick an Entree I sought, but that's ok, that's what backup picks are for.

Went with the Stuffed Mushrooms, Grilled Vegetable Salad, and the Southwest Chicken Sandwich with Onion Rings.

Finding my way there was a little bit of a struggle, just because the turn in for the restaurant is nestled in-between two houses so making the wrong turn either early or late has you pulling into a strangers driveway. But once I was inside the atmosphere was great, the calm before the dinner storm rush as I would put it. The servers were nice and I had my pickup in no time.

Once home I opened everything up to find it all looks great and smelled amazing. Starting with the Mushrooms, well, they were gone before I even sat down to really dig into everything. They were so good! Perfectly bite sized, with stuffing that I couldn't put my finger on what it was but all I knew was it tasted delicious. Wished I had bought more. The salad was next, and it wasn't quite what I was expecting. The grilled vegetables only served as a topping for the main salad which was pickled spinach, not normally my choice for greens but somehow either the marinade or the pickling made them the best part. Sadly the grilled vegetables could have used some more char to them, and due to their size, I had a tough time working on them as the skins on everything but the roasted red peppers were soft. Finally, the chicken sandwich. Pretty alright, but the shredded or diced chicken they used resulted in a far messier experience as it kept falling out. The flavor was good too, though the lettuce layer could have been a bit fresher. The onions rings were kind of disappointing though, they failed to separate them prior to battering and frying, so I ended up with rings that were 80% onion and 20% fried. I prefer my onions rings to have a nice crisp crunch to their coating, and these were soft and sometime soggy. A true shame.

All that said, for what I got, it was still a great...

Went here for a family gathering of 20 people. Everyone kept hyping this place up all week but I have to say Iโ€™m incredibly disappointed. It may be because they had such a large order at once, but my fried calamari was absolutely flavorless and rubbery. I mean not even a hint of spice or salt added, and the marinara seemed like the cheap store bought stuff and was equally flavorless . I also got some garlic Parmesan chicken tenders that I have to imagine were from frozen, but at least had some flavor. My wife said her chicken cordon bleu was also incredibly under seasoned, with similar criticism from my brother, his wife, and my mother. The building itself was beautiful, but itโ€™s pretty clear to me from what I saw of the other patrons that the only people who come here are old white people who think mayonnaise is spicy. The waitresses were very welcoming and overall excellent though, which is the only reason I didnโ€™t give one star. That being said, I went to the bar to grab some drinks for the table and the bar tender seemed inconvenienced that I came up and interrupted his conversation with one of the other staff and had a pretty unfriendly tone.

After struggling through a few bites to hold me over, I decided to box up most of my meal to take it home and season it/refry it myself. Given the price of sub par food, I donโ€™t think my wife and I will...

We were a group of three who went on a Thursday. There were only two (a few?) waitresses on staff for the entire restaurant so service was incredibly slow. We ordered after 20 minutes. The drinks came 10 minutes after that.

I ordered baked haddock which came with rice and steamed vegetables. The vegetables were overcooked and so were quite mushy. The rice tasted like it came from a package. The portion of haddock was quite large which was nice, however, it should have been cooked a bit longer. Presentation was a bit odd: it came with a sprig of rosemary sticking up out of it on one end and an emaciated slice of lemon on the other end. The lemon was impossible to squeeze onto the fish (tip: a wedge of lemon works much better). The fish could have been better seasoned.

While ordering the waitress asked what type of salad dressing I would like. However, I never received a salad. If she ever visited our table again after our food was served I would have asked about it but that never happened.

My mother ordered the salmon burger which came with macaroni salad. Neither were particularly good and she didn't finish them. My stepfather ordered the southwestern chicken sandwich which he said was good.

We won't be returning anytime soon. The restaurant was very busy and we were happy for them so I'm sure they won't be missing us. The...

Our party of 14 walked in, at 2pm on a Sunday, without notice. To our delight the staff was able to accommodate us. We sat in the large front/main dining room. The atmosphere was a lovely and comfortable rustic with a small bar tucked in one corner. I didn't get a close look at the bar, I did notice the only a few TVs only in that area, which I appreciated. It was covered floor to ceiling with wood, exposed beams on the ceiling, tavern decor with an Irish vibe adorned the walls and ceiling. The dining room was warmly lit with votive candles on the tables, I'd put volume at a pleasant "conversation level". I enjoyed a draft Octoberfest brew and a excellent Ruben sandwich with onion rings. Our waitress was attentive, the food came out hot and in proper order, drink refills, promptly offered. The check had 20% gratuity added, which we were fine with, considering the the size of our party and the service we received. Overall we had a very enjoyable experience, I would recommend. On the way home my wife suggested it'd be nice to visit during a snowfall.

We were in town visiting friends and stopped in on a weekday for lunch. Given how small the town is I expected it to be dead but there was quite a crowd. They were very accommodating in seating us as we had eight and the server was attentive and friendly. The atmosphere is great and the timbered construction is impressive. There is a large seating area as well as a full bar with high seating. There are a couple TVs but the volume was down thankfully. I had a special shaved prime rib sandwich with caramelized onions and mushrooms which was excellent. My wife had the special quiche with a salad and the kids had pasta and chicken fingers. They had a nice selection of beers on draft. My friends suggested that reservations are helpful on weekends and I can see why. The menu is pretty extensive and the food fresh.
