Hands down the best all around brewery around. The people that work here are kind well mannered and hard working individuals. On many nights you can catch the owner enjoying a brew or two with his patrons. Although, no kitchen they do have chips to snack on if you need. The beers here are always cold and wonderful any time of the season and if you don’t like the beer they always have at least a seltzer or cider on hand. Simply put, diversion is probably one of the best all around breweries in the east coast. Read more3.5 if I could give half stars. The ambience is great: live music, Adirondack chairs around fire pits, farmhouse vibe, etc. Unfortunately, the beer is just a step above home brew. You’re better off heading 15 minutes north to Upstate Brewing in Elmira. Smaller venue, but far superior beer.
UPDATE: Now giving them a 4.0. I accidentally left my credit card, and they were incredibly kind to send it to me. The bartender even gave me her personal cell number to follow up to ensure I got it. I still think the beer could use some work, but I’m adding half a star for outstanding...
