Tucked out in the country between Cameron & Chetek, WI, is this very big, black owned, veteran owned road house. I happened to patronize on a Wednesday Wynn they have their very popular smoked wing special. It didn't disappoint! The mango habanero sauce I chose had a 1 out of 10 spice scale to it. The place was very busy, bright and full of friendly people. The staff were very nice and talkative. Well need to come back and try more of their menu. It's not your typical menu of just short order food, but has an upscale, fine dining-ish menu for an establishment tucked this deep into the sticks. Highly recommended.

Food was great, server seemed pretty new to the service industry but handled herself well. Bloody was not what I am used to and Loud campers happened come in while we had a late dinner, otherwise we were very happy with everything.

Exceptional service for a busy weekend! Love the Walleye, and added battered shrimp. They were juicy, and the best! Tonight, We've never had a bad meal and always look forward to eating here.

We were there on Friday June 10th there were 9 people in our party. We were there mainly for the fish. It took 20 minutes to wait for a table after we were seated the waitress came and took our drink and food order. The waitress was prompt with the drinks but as the time went on others were being seated we still had not received our food. Time went on and still no food! The other customers that were seated after us had already eaten and had left and still no food! It was now a hour and a half! By this time the guys with us had drank their share and of course ran out of patience and were vocal about not getting our food. The guys went outside, the food then came but the guys refused to eat and wanted compensation for the wait. This is where it got crazy! The owner went outside to confront the guys I was out there getting money to pay the bill, even though I felt like the manager owner should of understand the wait we had but he didn’t he yelled at the guys asking if they were kids or adults? What kind of owner says that to customers? Very un professional!!! I have been in food Service for 30 plus years and even when you have a unhappy customer the customer is always right!! I won’t be back!!! I understand everyone is short handed but why tables of 6 received their food before us after they were there after us? The waitress was very un professional also saying it was the guys fault! Really? We didn’t make the 90 minute wait to get our food! I hope they get their restaurant together or it won’t last! The owner needs some customer...

Wow. What a mess. We placed an order at 5pm with 45 minute pick up time. We ordered three fried cod dinners with three baked potatoes, three salads with dressing on the side. We picked up the food. We received one piece cod dinners. Ok, my mistake for not asking. Then where are the salads? Tartar sauce? Called back. My two choices to correct the order and make amends are 1) to come back for the salads and we were offered a free dessert or 2) get $6 back for three missing salads. I’ll take the three salads with a dessert. I drive back 10 minutes and wait over 20 minutes more for my food. On the drive over, I called back and said please add 2 pieces of cod for pick up. I was charged $12 as if I had ordered another complete 2 piece meal. The one piece cod dinner was $8 and the 2 piece was $12. I should have been charged $8 max. I asked if I received tartar and cocktail sauce which I requested earlier. The waitress had to go get it. At 7pm, I sit down to eat my dinner and I did not have salad dressing. For goodness sake, the cod was good, but it didn’t make up for the aggravation of this experience. Of note, they were busy. No one in the bar area or front row of tables had food in front of them. This is not the first time we have had difficulty here but still we try to patronize them as a small business. I think we will give them some time to work on things...

Terrible service. Decent food. We went in to the bar to order take out and have a drink. After about a half hour, we asked our waitress when we might expect to get our food. She said that it was very busy and that we had about another 20-30 minute wait (which we were never told prior that take out would be an hour wait or we would have gone elsewhere as we had children at home waiting for dinner). After another 30 minutes, another round or drinks, and still no food, we again asked where out food was, to be told that they “forgot our order but they would drop it in now.” This was after our waitress asked to check us out, and she proceeded to leave since her shift was over. Food eventually came with the rudest staff member. We told her our frustration with the delayed order, saying it was unacceptable and her response was “...and?” And “we were told about long wait times” (which never happened). Another table heard our frustration and fame over to tell us they arrived before us and still haven’t received their food (with 3 children at their table) but reported they were told of an hour wait time. Such a ridiculous employee that should have serious customer service coaching. Never once apologized for the poor service, only make excuses. After all of that, we get home To find an incorrect order with missing fish and a service charge per person for a take out...
