La Promenade Cafe and Catering - Nyack — Restaurant in Town of Clarkstown

La Promenade is an amazing GEM in the heart of Upper Nyack.To say I was impressed, is an understatement .I am extremely impressed , and happy with both the quality and quantity of the food, not to mention the decor & cleanliness , it's all impeccable . They cover it all, with grab and go dinners, and sandwiches , fresh salads , overnight oats, fresh fruit just to mention a few items they carry. You can grab a cold drink, or indulge in a nice selection of coffees & latte's . . Save room for desert , the bakery is one of the finest I have ever seen in our village. The entire staff from owners, managers, and employees are the nicest, kindest, friendliest group of individuals , I have seen in any establishments I deal with. I have also used the catering department for 3 different dinner occasion, and everything I ordered was prepared to perfection, with self explanatory directions on reheating. If I could give them 10 stars , I would give them a 10+. So don't miss out on LaPromenade , they will not...

Stopped in today for a quick lunch...

Black bean and corn salad…. Excellent Tomato Mozzarella Basil sandwich with Balsalmic … prefer pesto version with roasted red peppers - but still very good. Coffee very good Glazed cronut …. Ridiculously delicious total cost was about $20. Next time I cut out the Cronut and it seems reasonable to me.

They are still getting their process down having just opened. Unlike so many other places, they do not allow counter tips, which I found interesting. Since I live locally, I hope they will keep seating outside and more of it. The inside seating is spartan and not that comfy. They do have wifi, but I found it spotty at best. Maybe they don't want the likes of me hanging around too long - understandable.

Their prices are commiserate with an upscale deli and no surprise. Whether they will get the regular clientele is to be determined.

What a nice surprise! So happy to have a new little place that fits perfectly in town. Bright and open, very friendly staff, beautifully presented displays of treats and prepared foods. Coffee was great. We also tried an iced matcha as well, one critique, there were no syrups without sugar offered. Tried the cronuts; cinnamon sugar, glazed and raspberry filled. The raspberry filling was delicious- not too sweet, the right amount of tartness, perfect. I will be back to try the prepared foods and more...
