Marcel's Ice Cream — Restaurant in Town of Clay

Marcel's Ice Cream game has come in and changed the balance of the ice cream landscape. I had a peanut butter cup sundae and it was fantastic. How fantastic you ask? I was full from dinner to where this was definitely the illogical choice based on its size, and yet every bite was better than the next and no full tummy was going to stop my taste buds from my momentary bliss. Do I recommend my risky move, no. Should you go right now and get ice cream, yes!! My wife ordered a cookie dough flurry with peanut butter and I quote "it was perfect in every single way."

We went here with a bunch of family including one young member who cannot have dairy. We asked what dairy free options they had when we got there. The two younger females at the counter advised that the dairy free options were dole whip or a dairy free soft serve vanilla option. Our family member opted for the vanilla. After eating a majority of it they spoke up and stated they were a little nervous that it was not dairy free due to the taste. We went to the window to ask about it again and another person who was not there before advised it was lactose free not dairy free. I advised them that we were told it was dairy free by the other two employees. This is a very big deal for anyone with a food intolerance or allergy. The employees there should be trained better. I went to Marcel’s today for the 1st time as I’ve heard a lot of great things. I ordered a large strawberry sundae with nuts. The menu was very small compared to other places I’ve been to. The guy was nice and admitted he made a little mess. He offered to put it on a paper plate for me, which was thoughtful. I thought it would’ve been real strawberries but it was mainly strawberry syrup, like for milkshakes, with very few frozen strawberries. It was a disaster.
