We recently visited the actual winery (we had only been to the one in the mall) and I have to say i don't think we will go back. I love wine and there is a certain ambiance that I prefer when visiting and tasting. I found the staff to be quite cold, rushing us through the tasting and we only got 2 samples. I do not like the wine, I did enjoy the Fireboat red but after exploring more wines in the area I found that THOUSAND ISLANDS WINERY is the absolute BEST! Visiting Coyote moon was like walking into a gift shop/bar. Thousand islands on the other hand is gorgeous as your parking you can see the vineyard and so pleasing to the eye on the inside the set up is nice and there is a clear display of the bottles and prices and for $5 you can taste 10 wines to find the perfect one and you get a free glass. Coyote moon I believe charges $4 for 6 and it's not pleasant their wine slushes are pretty expensive too (not worth the price to me, taste wise)
With all things considered if you're just getting into wine Coyote moon may the place for you but if you're more into finding that perfect bottle I HIGHLY recommend thousand islands winery and I have to say that is our go to place and when we move they even ship to our next state and Coyote moon does not. North country red is our favorite from TIW and the German semi dry white (can't spell it) even more they are Veteran owned! 👌🏻

Read moreWe used Coyote Moon for our wedding and the location was beautiful. The tent for the reception was great and I'm so happy that all of the tables and chairs were included. There were even yard games that kept the kids and some of the guests occupied if they didn't want to dance. The staff was very helpful the night before and the day of as we began setting up as they helped me choose wine for the guests since I had never tasted their unique flavors.
The reason for the 3 stars is that it was awful trying to communicate with them leading up to my big day. As a bride, (being the one planning my wedding), I had a lot of questions that would come up that I needed to ask the venue. Coyote Moon did have a wedding coordinator for me but she was impossible to get in touch with via phone or e-mail and unfortunately none of the other staff had answers to my questions. By the time they assigned a new coordinator to me, there was only a week left until my wedding.
It was a little frustrating at first but we really did enjoy the vineyard on our...
Read moreI’m not someone who’d give such bad rating but my experience was such. We went for wine tasting on an evening & fell horribly sick right after. The lady serving us said one of the wines has been opened quite a while ago and someone forgot to put a date on it but she tasted & said it didn’t yet go bad. I’m not sure if that’s the reason but they have served us wines that were dated a few days ago. These literally had no sparkling left in them. Just plain drinks. These wines are not the expensive ones, most of them cost between $10-$15. I don’t think they should be serving the same wine even the next day. It left us with really bad stomach. And not to forget that one person was handling 3 different groups & she kept rushing with minimal talking, not to forget - she said i don’t make it so I don’t feel bad if you don’t like it instead of suggesting us other ones - we didn’t enjoy the tasting experience either. I wouldn’t go...
