Sorry, can't give it 5 stars. I'll explain. First the good. Beautiful from the ground up facility. Just really well done, with nice indoor and outdoor seating. The indoor design is just fantastic. As it was opening weekend, beer selections were extremely limited. Their IPA was tapped out. As a result, they only had one beer available that was actually brewed on site, an ok amber. The other three were from other breweries nearby ("collaborations"). One was a stout, that was quite good. Quite pricey beer: $9 for a pint of their own, and $10 for the stout. Not even sure the glass was a full pint. And everything on the East side of the Hudson seems to cost 20% more, for some reason. No kitchen. They had a tent outside serving up expensive oysters and lobster rolls. This would be an ideal site for a food truck, but I don't know what their plans are. Bottom line - too expensive, limited selection and. Remote location. I am hopeful that they will.improve selection eventually, but price will always be a problem for me. Despite the negatives, beautiful place and worth the trip.

Lasting Joy Brewery is the greatest new thing to happen in the heart of the Hudson, and you can tell by the way people are flocking to the new space! I brought my friend this weekend, and we were amazed by the beautiful architecture and thoughtful design that allows everyone to enjoy a drink and talk, eat food, play games on the grass, or watch the sunset. It feels very homey and welcoming to all - kids and dogs are encouraged, so it’s very family friendly, but my friend and I came without either and felt super comfortable to just sit and hang out. As someone who’s never loved beer, I also appreciated the wide selection of other drinks available (including wine, cider, and NYC’s Stumptown coffee). My friend on the other hand loved the Hazy IPA - I even had some sips and liked it too! The merch selection is so fun as well - we bought two t-shirts (because who can resist Comfort Colors). This place is amazing and I will be bringing all of my friends up for round 2!!

First time visiting Lasting Joy Brewery and found the interior to be opulent, but also very laid back and rustic. Inside you get the feel of a luxury hotel and then you step outside and feel the countryside at your leisure. With many spaces to get comfortable whether (in or out) you'll feel welcome. To no surprise the selection of brews was well thought out and varied enough for anyone's taste. I especially enjoyed the English Beet Stout. The beet was very subtle giving it a very pleasant taste. In addition there is a selection of wines and ciders. Food is available thru various alternating food trucks/catering companies. There are other events (see website/calendar) that take place as well. Great place for young families, the kids will have fun running around outside while you relax at one of the seating areas. The staff was very friendly and attentive. The only downside was parking which was a little distance if it were raining.

Overall beautiful establishment and love the atmosphere of this place. My boyfriend enjoyed his beers. The only thing that left me with a bad impression was when I ordered the nine pin, the only nine pin offered on their menu. Recieved my drink and asked a different server for a another one and got a different nine pin. Come to find out the first server poured me a completely different cider so when I questioned the second server she looked at me as if I had 5 heads when I actually had every right to do so. My first drink was a 12oz + pour and light. The nine pin was a different color and from the draft at 10oz. The second server poured me the correct thing as what I asked for. First server I have no clue what she gave me and my mistake for not double checking the glass ounces since that was the dead giveaway. Nonetheless I drank both ciders lol. But for future if a customer is questioning something might be a good idea to train the servers to actually listen and not respond so defensively especially when it was a servers mix up not...

My wife and I made a visit to Lasting Joy on 6/17. The property is open and surrounded by planted fields and woods. The new building is spectacular. A high ceiling, open, post and beam construction gathering area that is as welcoming as the staff. There is a good selection of beers that are from their fledgling brewery and a couple from brewery friends in the wider local area. They are all good tasting and flavorful and honest to their type. I especially liked the Czech Pilsner. The food situation has been disrupted by the Covid storm. Food trucks were on the menu when the opening was to be last year and there will be some on weekends coming up.. Currently there are charcuterie and cheese boards available which are actually just right for the purpose of being there which is to have a beer or two. Having a combination cheese and meat board would be a good addition. With local restrictions in place there isn’t any outside music at this time. We...
