First time going to this place and had an absolute terrible time. I ordered Mac n cheese and it was so disgusting, it looked very old like it had been sitting around for a few days and was burnt in some spots. I am not a very picky eater but when I tell you how bad it tasted I mean it. Now our waiter had also said this was not the first complaint and that she was going to take it off our bill. So she took our old bill away that had said our meal was $45.?? (I do not remember the exact change amount).

When she came back she said the new bill would be at the register. Once rudely greeted by the cashier she handed us the new bill which was in the amount of $48.81. Which made no sense to me since they were supposed to take money off for the mac n cheese. When I tried to explain that to her she told me that’s the price I have to pay. She argued with me. My grandma who got a senior meal attempted to reason that something was wrong with the bill. The cashier suddenly walked away from her mid sentence without listening to her!

I had enough of this lady being not only rude to me but my grandmother as well. I paid the UP CHARGE on the bill so we could get out of there and leave.

Worst experience I have ever had going out to eat. Not only was the food disgusting but some of the workers were extremely rude. I will not ever go back to this place nor would I ever recommend...

First and foremost, I'd like to say that, as a rule, I like to try and find the upside to any establishment I dine at. With that said, the only good thing about my experience at this restaurant, was the people I was dining with. My family and I had been driving 7 hours and, based on the good reviews, we decided to stop here for a bite to eat.

My dad had to remind the server 3 times, that he wanted a chocolate milk with his meal. Not a huge deal, but c'mon. Also, it was lukewarm when he got it (gross!). The corned beef on his reuben quite was overcooked. My burger was merely flavorless, and tasted frozen. My little sister's salad was just lettuce and shredded carrots. Not to mention, the bread that came with it (covered in butter) was bigger than the salad itself. The entire meal was a complete disappointment!

When the waitress asked us how our meal was, we didn't complain. We weren't out to complain or cause a fuss- but we were clearly unhappy. Honestly, we knew we had another 7-hour drive ahead, and wanted to leave the experience behind. The only reason I'm writing this review, is because we were really anticipating a great meal, and we received what could possibly be one of the worst meals we've ever had.

I know we will never come here again, but maybe this will help you improve the experience for...

This place is simply amazing. I want to point out quickly that they have a nice little gift shop that you should check out. The restaurant is the real star though. First of all, the restaurant has a great atmosphere and friendly service. Also, the food is extremely cheap and they give you large portions. I have never been to a restaurant that gives you so much food at such a low price. You never feel ripped off when you eat here. In fact, you'll probably feel like you're ripping them off. However, that would mean nothing if the food wasn't good, and boy, does this place deliver. I had their "Build Your Own Burger Deal" and had a delicious half pound bacon cheeseburger. It was HUGE! I have to say, that burger was the absolute BEST burger I have ever had the pleasure of eaten. And it was only a little under $7, just a little more expensive than a McDonald's Quarter Pounder. It was well worth it. For such a big burger that also happened to taste good, $7 dollars ain't bad at all. All in all, this is a great hidden gem of a restaurant and it is New York's best "unknown" restaurant and one of the best restaurants period. I definitely will be eating...

This is our favorite breakfast spot. Homemade everything, we usually enjoy the pancakes, potatoes, omelettes and cinnamon iced French toast. We’ve never had bad food here. I swear that even their basic plain coffee even tastes better lol Very low key place, nothing fancy, it’s all about the food they’re serving! Even if they’re busy everyone greets you with a smile and are attentive. They also have ice cream, fresh bread and homemade donuts. We rave about this place to everyone we know. The two story gift shop is a must see! Lots of speciality items as well as common gifts. If you have time definitely do a walk through.

The portions are huge, and the wait staff are kind, and very accommodating. It is everything you would expect at a country diner. And the peach crumble was to die for. Not to mention the store. With two floors of amazing candles, pictures, hats, clothing, pretty much whatever you might think of. Some of the prices are a little high, for such a small town, it shows prices of a major city. Nonetheless, it was fun to explore, and we will definitely be back, we’ve found “our place”.

We had a very tasty lunch here - the kids had pancakes, chicken fingers, and fries and I had a hamburger. The pancakes are HUGE. There is an extensive gluten free menu which I really appreciated. They were also accommodating of a dairy allergy which was great. The service was terrific and the prices cannot be beat. My kids also enjoyed looking around the gift shop.
