Looks at THE MOST used words in reviews and you'll see and one of the most popular is WAITRESS. Aka the wait staff, which are as much the reason people come to the MV as the food! We have been here a few times over the last few years and really enjoyed our visits. but it sounds like some recent changes are causing some issues recently. We've always heard that the wait staff here was THE BEST and that was one of the reasons to come visit here, which has been our experience, as well. However, one of the customer-favorite servers was recently let go and it sounds like others may have one foot out the door, as well due to the current negative working climate. We all know places are struggling to keep good help, and customers really do recognize and appreciate when good management shows great staff they are appreciated. However, when they do the opposite - well, that's absolutely noticed, too. People want to support places that take care of their staff and treat them professionally and fairly. Hope the MV can turn it back around before...

Asked to sit outside. We were taken to the outdoor dining area. Told that we couldn't sit on the picnic tables under an umbrella because they were keeping them In case a large group came. Now I have a sunburn since we didn't get an umbrella. The chairs are the size for a size 0 woman or a 12 year old boy. Average adults will be uncomfortable. Had to straddle the table leg to sit at the table. The stall in the restroom is probably the smallest in the world. You can barely move in there. The air hand dryer is completely ineffective. The food was fair. The ribs are really good, the chicken was flavorless and the burgers were cereal burgers.n The potato salad was good. The waiter said he has a terrible memory. Had to ask 3 times for a drink refill. We had a $110 check for 4 people with no alcohol. Unlikely that we...

This a descent sit down restaurant/bar with outdoor dining. Its been a while since our last visit. We highly recommend the spinach artichoke dip probably the best we've ever had. The pita chips are delicious by themselves. That being said, my chicken parm sub was OK. Chicken tenders, sauce, mozzarella (cheese was good) and a generic roll. For $13, it should've been an actual Chicken breast. My wife had a veggie wrap, nothing special. My son loved his Nascar Chicken sandwich and Baked Potato fries. It looked pretty good. The menu has a lot of tasty looking options. Too bad we don't live closer. We look forward to another trip down the road and more spinach artichoke dip and trying some other...

Prices online dont match up with what you actually pay. Did a to go order today. Buffalo wing dip at $7.95, a baccon cheese burger at $11.50, and a Philly cheese steak sub at $12.95. And was charged $47.36. Total before tax was $32.40 after tax should have been around $35 so where did the other almost $13 bucks go ? Lmfao won't be back again. Glad I also left her a tip after getting ripped off. All these prices are what they show on there online menu Sure looks like an online menu to me

Top notch home style comfort food that tastes like it was made in your mother's kitchen. Big portions that are easy to finish because the food is so delicious. The prices are a bargain compared to other area eateries that serve high quality food. Friendly and amazing bartender / server that dished up great suggestions and drinks. The baked potato fries are unique and seasoned perfectly. The potato salad; probably the best I've ever tasted. Another hidden gem in the hills.

We were treated like kings at the restaurant! We stumbled on this place via reviews. It Surpassed all the positive discussion. The food was wonderful. We were impressed with the lengthy menu and specials. The waitress was very kind and made suggestions based on our input. It’s a great night. The building is historical, built in the 1800s they still use the original bar and the floor is also original. Don’t forget to try a fresh baked chocolate chip cookie for dessert.
