I don’t normally take the time to write comments, however, tonight I felt it absolutely necessary. We are staying in Whitewater and decided to travel only a short few miles North to The Real MacCoys for some Prime Rib. The food was very good and service was exceptional. I felt very comfortable having a nice dinner with my 10 year old daughter, so very family friendly. The king and queen cuts were meaty and plentiful. Also, I have to mention the random act of kindness that took place from one of the other customers, blew my mind. Let’s just say, I’ll definitely be paying it forward. First of all if you haven't been here since the new owners have taken over you won't believe you're in the old Cold Springs . They did a beautiful job remodeling it. My wife and I had the very reasonably priced three piece fried cod . Big pieces done perfect , crispy on the outside and moist on the inside . Everything , fries , coleslaw, marbled rye bread and tartar sauce was very good . Had enough take home for another lunch .
