Ice Cream Shop — Restaurant in Town of Colonie

Wow! When out of town I typically don’t review too often, but felt it was necessary and deserved! As for the ice cream it was delicious and no problems with prices etc. I had to ask the young lady’s name that helped me because I appreciated her helping me out and not getting annoyed by my indecisiveness. She was so friendly and even offered me a samples! I applaud her patience as the customer in front of me was very rude, but you would have never known. I wanted to compliment Erin, so I asked if the owner was there and that’s when I met Jordyn who is the manager. She was so friendly and engaged in a nice conversation from soft serve, flavors, and precautions she is taking to keep her customers and staff safe! She truly seemed to take pride in her work! I asked her what ice cream she liked and to get me a scoop because I figured it had teeth whitener in it! Due to her happy energy I couldn’t help but notice she had the whitest teeth I’ve ever seen! The ice cream was great I always bring my family there .but just 1 bad experience with the girl that served .It was last Tuesday 27th May. At about 7pm when i made my orders for me and my wife when the staff called the order ,so I was just there by the receiving window and I took the cone which was not mine by accident.i taught it was mine for a second, so I was about to hand it to the customer eho made the purchase when it was snatched away from me by the employee and I heard her say "you shouldn't take stuff that does not belong to you".. I apologized to her and the customer who was very nice and accepted my apologies kind heartedly.Her attitude behind the counter should have been much better,I find it very rude. Meanwhile the cone was not contaminated in anyway because it had a paper towel around it.I do customer service at Ellis hospital and I understand how to make people comfortable when mistakes are made..I didn't see a badge on the employee so I hv no name of who the woman was ,all I know she was the only one wearing a cap that afternoon. I love ur ice cream and can assure u ill b back .As a Christian I love u guys...

I ordered a Supposedly large cone it was the smallest Large cone Ever.When she handed it to me i said thats a large & she said yes.I got home & called & asked 2 speak 2 the manager wouldnt u no the girl who waited on me Was the manager. I said that was the smallest large cone i had Ever gotten no less an over $4 cone. She said it looked small but it was the amount I was supposed to get. I said I would Never come back with my business. She acted like she could care less & did not offer any kind of compensation. Very bad customer service & I Always thought the customer wad Never wrong. I went 2 Scoups on Shaker Road the next night & I bought a QUART of Home made soft vanilla for a Fair price of $6.75 & my girlfriend got a Small cone for $2.50 that was bigger than the large cone I got here for 4.50. The only thing home made here is the uncomfortable picnic tables. The manager made NO attempt 2 re$olve my complaint so i would advise you 2...
