Great place for a gathering! I was at a graduation party yesterday. The food was very good, with a wide variety for their guests. Lots of space for social distancing, and the staff was very friendly, and they made a great effort to ensure the safety of the guests and the workers. There is a huge pavilion, so even though it was a very sunny, hot day, there is plenty of shade. There were lots of activities for everyone ... horse shoes, corn hole, basketball court, volleyball, etc. and they provide equipment for play. I have a daughter graduating next year, and will definitely consider this a venue...
Read moreWas there today with our Vfw. Picnic food was mostly good. My Lobster tasted like it was from the day before. I've never had a lobster so tough. I couldn't eat it. Other people complained as well. The corn was soggy. Some steaks had alot of grizzle in them and not much flavor. The other party was complaining to us as well. You would think that since they only had to cook less than 40 dinners that the lobsters and steak would be cooked to perfection!!! This is the 4th year we've been having our picnic at Lanthiers. We are very unhappy and considering taking our party somewhere...
Read moreMy Uncle Jack & Aunt Eileen owned Lanthiers Grove in its hay day. They were hard workers & took their business seriously. Remembering that happy customers are returning customers!!! We ordered 45 steams for a Columbus Day clam steam, the corn tasted & looked a week old, the clams small & chewy, chicken overcooked along with the sausage, which most threw away.
