Bakers Sizzling Grill — Restaurant in Town of Colton

We got a large 16” pepperoni pizza, 1/2 dozen mild bone-in wings, 1/2dozen bbq wings, and an order of garlic knots. We were starving passing through Colton which is rare and saw this on google with all good reviews and went for it. But man were we disappointed… I will say that it’s pretty hard to mess up a pizza, and they did. I’m sorry but I’ve tried lots of pizza and I’m usually not picky but by the end of my slice I was about to gag. The wings were awful. The chewiest, fattiest weirdest tasting wings. We stomached the bbq wings since there was enough sauce to mask the cheap chicken taste. I’ve had better food from 7-11/Sunoco! The garlic knots were supposed to be no cheese and there was a layer of crusted stinky cheese on the bottom of them. They were not light airy garlic goodness. They were thick dense dry slabs of bread and somehow still raw. This place really reminded me why we don’t try new places and stick to what I know. My dog who eats anything, didn’t even want this food. My boyfriend ended up getting sick later on.. We just wanted some good food and this was EXTREMELY upsetting. I just don’t want someone else to go through what we did. Disregard all these good reviews people! Pizza is deceiving as it looks great...

We were thrilled & looking forward to ordering when we received their menu in our post office box just before they opened - and we were not disappointed when we did! I admit I felt like a jerk when we called on a Sunday night to order half an hour before they closed 🤦 (didn't mean to, just lost track of time! 😇), but the person that answered was very nice & polite while insisting it was just fine. (We promise not to do that again! 😁) Anyway, we ordered a pepperoni & mushroom pizza, breaded mushrooms, and the fried dough balls with cinnamon and everything was Great! (The dough balls especially did not last long! 😁) Everything was great, and despite ordering as late as we did, our order was delivered Extremely quickly! (Even though we fall within the Free Delivery Within 4 miles - totally thrilled about that, by the way! - we'd happily pay a fee for the food & convenience!) We look forward to ordering again, and trying out all they have to offer! Oh, and they keep their fb page up to date, so it's convenient to check out specials & any announcements that may come up! This is easily our favorite restaurant in the area. We order from here on an almost weekly basis, so much that I kind of wish they had a points system! Haha. The only complaint that I have is that they ever close! We regularly order their specials like beef tips, turkey dinner, and prime rib; and we regularly order pizza, burgers, wings, homemade Mac and cheese, and various appetizers! They make at least most things fresh and homemade! If you need some catering or a good family dinner then this is the place to go! They are good people and I feel more than welcome every time I walk in the door. Also, I’ve been able to speak directly to the owner on occasion and it’s so relieving to know we have someone that cares about the community here. Baker’s goes above and beyond to accommodate customers.
