Columbus Public House — Restaurant in Town of Columbus

If I could give 100 stars, I would!! Highly recommend for lunch / quick bite.

My partner and I were on our way to the animal shelter near by, 2 hours away from home so we just stopped at really the first place we found on Google maps. And gosh, we wish we didn't live so far away!!!

The atmosphere in this restaurant was so nice, very home like, relax, clean, organized. Just overall really great. We ended up sitting at the bar because we enjoy doing that.

The waitstaff was literally amazing. We didn't catch either of their names but they were such wonderful people! Friendly, talkative. The waitress was seriously so sweet, kind, funny, friendly!

And the food! Knock out of the park!!! The wings were seriously delicious, crispy, perfectly cooked, the sauces were AMAZING. The Cuban turkey club was SO good. So much flavor, juicy turkey. The steak & cheese sandwich was Perfect. Juicy steak, perfect amount of veggies to steak ratio. And I loved that it was on a hamburger sized roll instead of a giant sub roll. The handcut fries were a little more done to my personal liking but still, VERY good! Their pasta salad was super crisp, fresh and not overly drenched in dressing, such a good even pasta salad!

We are absolutely coming back if we're in the area again! Or, would maybe even make a special trip to come back out! HIGHLY recommend. I love that they have a...

My husband and I enjoy going out to eat after a long week at work. This was only our second time coming here. We had a great experience the last time we were there. This time was ok but we called and reserved our table, our waitress came and got us but went in the kitchen instead of showing us our table. Secondly she seemed more concerned about making sure my husband was satisfied then me. I never got asked anything but my order but she was more intrigued on getting him more drinks and so on. I had to ask for another. I had stated that I had been chilly all day because we were seated right by the door she in turn said well if you want you can get up and do what I’m doing…… idk not very happy with service this time food...

I finally got a chance to make it to the Columbus Public House. I went for lunch with my sister. We both had marvelous chicken and biscuits with corn for vegetable.Also Autumn Chicken Apple salad. Which was absolutely amazing!!! Marinated chicken, cranberries, walnuts,granny Smith apples,mixed salad greens, dressing choice was Italian. Everything is made in house .Including the fabulous desserts we had Apple Crisp with Gilligan's vanilla ice cream.And Carrot cake with delicious cream cheese frosting. You can't go wrong with this place, from first step inside I was greeted by Edsall Hodges (owner) who greeted us and gave a tour of his beautiful place. Showed beautiful art work...
