This property is really interesting. It is a stop for many UTV drivers. There are two buildings one is an outdoor bar. That is a small building up on a hill, which has amazing views. The tavern itself is small and cozy inside with really cool log/wood furniture/tables and chairs. Overall, a five star for atmosphere. Here is the part that isn’t so good and which is very disappointing. They seem to be understaffed, but this is the second time I’ve been here so really there’s no excuses. There was two women in front of me and my boyfriend. It took over 15 minutes for anyone to even acknowledge that we wanted to sit down for a meals. The woman kept walking by completely, ignoring the fact that we were all standing there. In fact, there’s really nowhere to stand you kind of stand in between the bar and the dining tables. Finally, the bartender told us we can sit at the table that was right by us. She brought us some menus got us some drinks and we ordered quickly because we figured if we didn’t we wouldn’t eat at all anytime soon. My boyfriend being a diabetic needed to eat. We ordered chili; good, hardy, but it lacked flavor. We also ordered a pizza that again lacked flavor, but it had an ok amount of toppings, but they were not evenly spread. I had to put a lot of Parmesan just to get even somewhat of good flavor. My boyfriend‘s sandwich was also mediocre. Very disappointing since we drove over 45 minutes to get there. You know what we might try it again because I believe in giving a place three tries. Seriously, though as an owner, you should have your staff greet people whether you’re busy or not. We could see if she was busy but a simple hey take a seat wherever you like or I’ll be right with you....

Initially, I hesitated to enter, mistaking the lively atmosphere for a private event. However, I was quickly and warmly welcomed by a friendly group of Packers fans, which set the tone for my entire visit. The tavern exudes a fantastic, friendly atmosphere that makes you feel right at home. So much so that I ended up returning every day for lunch during my vacation and hunting trip. One of the highlights was bringing my girls along for lunch one day. The pretzel quickly became a family favorite, and the girls couldn’t get enough of the cheese pizza.Burnt Bridge Tavern is an absolute must-visit, especially in the fall.    Read moreWas very disappointed in the service we received today. While the place was not empty it was certainly not jam packed with people. There were several open seats at the bar. It took at least 10 minutes for someone to acknowledge us. We finally were able to order drinks, we asked to see a menu and not one time did anyone take our food order. As one of the servers walked away we asked for a pretzel. We weren’t even sure if she heard us. Finally the pretzel came out, we still wanted to order lunch but after the pretzel was delivered not one time did someone come over and check on us. We had no drinks at this point so we got up to just leave money on the bar for what we received and then they finally acknowledged us to get us the bill. I would have loved to give a higher rating on the food but we were unable to...
