Domino's Pizza — Restaurant in Town of Corning

My wife and I ordered two pies and an order of wings. We finished one pie and the wings and left the other pie in the fridge overnight. When we went to have lunch the next day we found a larva (picture attached) baked into a slice. To check to be sure it wasn't a fennel seed or another herb, I took the larva out to get a better look and confirmed. I called up Dominos to get a refund. The first lady I talked to was grossed out and immediately got a manager on the line. This is where the 1 star comes in.

The manager all but called me a liar by saying "I can guarantee it isn't an insect larva" on the phone but then asked to see it. Never once on the phone did he apologize. Once at the store, the manager just stared at the pizza silently for a solid 30 seconds before saying "I feel that it would have burnt off in the oven or been baked into to the cheese." Again, all but calling me a liar. One pie was refunded, but when asked about a refund for the rest of the order he stated that "you brought me one pizza."

Corporate is closed today, so I'll have to call Monday to finish getting this sorted out....

Perhaps just a very bad evening for this Dominos(?), however it bares mentioning that when I went looking for Pizza in Corning near the Radisson, I opted for Domino's with their (at the time of this review) 4 star rating. I am sad to report that this was 1-2 star on the food quality and preparation. Cheese quality not good/fresh(?), crust soggy, pizza deformed ( possibly dropped?). Wings soggy and poorly sauced perhaps cooked earlier and kept warm on a steam table? - not at all crispy. Very disappointing overall food experience. Quality should matter.

I will mention however on a more positive note that the delivery was exceptionally fast and the individual delivering was courteous. If you are looking for good pizza, I would not put too much credence in the google ratings with pizza in Corning, NY. Good luck with your selection. I hope things go better for you than...

I hate how inconsistent this place is. 2 times ago the pizza was disgusting, the next time I grabbed one for lunch and it was one of the best pizzas I've ever had there. Ordered tonight 2 pizzas, 2 wings, garlic bites and soda. I not only got the wrong pizza, but it was absolutely disgusting. The 2nd pizza was ok. Wings, omg, never again, soggy and slippery, filled with black stuff. The fact that I didn't get the right sauces doesn't even matter at this point. I do recommend the garlic bread bites and the bottled Dr. Pepper. But unfortunately, I think this the last time I'll ever order here. I can't wait until pizza hut opens again.
