Town Pump Bar and Grill — Restaurant in Town of Crescent

I've driven past this place for years on end and never stopped in. Thanks to Karley Davidson being booked for her outstanding live music, my girlfriend and I drove about an hour to go check it out, and we were not disappointed in the slightest. I had the reuben sandwich with tots, which was good. However, my gf ordered the mac and cheese with pulled pork, and THIS, MY FRIENDS, IS WORTH THE VISIT ALONE!! You know those dishes you'll have every now and then where you take a bite and simply shake your head in disbelief that something is so insanely tasty with EVERY single bite? Like, you never get used to how good it is? That's what this mac and cheese did to me. Served in a small cast iron skillet, it doesn't look like much at first glance, but you're in for an absolute treat. I will go back for this alone. They make it with 3 cheeses and it is as creamy as you could ever ask for, with the flavors of the heavens. Never thought I'd get so excited about mac and cheese!! The world must know!! I’ve been to this place a number of times alone. My kids have been bugging me to come since we live right down the road from it . My mom lived in the house I own when she was a kid and she shared with them stories on how her dad took her there all the time to get ice cream. So they stayed with the impression that they were getting ice cream regardless how many times I told them otherwise . I was hesitant because I’ve never seen kids there, little did I know they were happy and occupied 99% of the time , they had a whole cabinet filled with puzzles, coloring books, and cards. They had the kids cheeseburgers, the kids enjoyed the flavor, were kind of small (like smaller than the ones you’d get from mcds) which was perfect for my small kid but my big kid said I should have ordered her two. First time at the town pump. I'm very picky with my fish fries but I tell you what I was so impressed I can see why this parking lot is always packed First of all my fish was very good it wasn't dripping with oil it wasn't too much breading I had the haddock lightly breaded and it was perfect I had hand cut fries and boy To have hand cut that was special
