Dark Horse Saloon — Restaurant in Town of Dansville

The first couple times I visited Dark Horse I had a great experience and the food was great. I highly recommended it to a family member, I took that family member there tonight for dinner and was not impressed. They had no pizza or burgers (which happens, I get it. No big deal) so we ordered 3 pulled pork sandwiches, 1 order of chicken tenders and an order of chicken wings. The “pulled pork sandwiches” we ordered came out as pictured, literally a pork loin cut into slices and put on a roll. They then told us that the chicken tenders were taken to the wrong table and now they are out of them so my Dad had to re order something different. Then when we got the bill, we were overcharged for 3 additional drinks plus the chicken tenders were still on the bill. Not sure what changed from the first few times I went there, to tonight. This establishment is absolutely beautiful and so are the owners and staff. The interior in of itself is unique, artistic, even the restrooms emanate a very comfortable feel good atmosphere. I highly recommend this place to anyone who can appreciate the experience that can be provided by such a place that allows for that out of town comfort zone.
