Update 9/21/23: We finally returned after a year, as we live far. Everything was as amazingly wonderful as we remembered! They are consistently excellent. I just wish we lived closer so we could come more often.

Original post: Stopped, by chance, as we passed by on a motorcycle cruise. (We turned around after passing it!) Sat out on the patio with view of a sweet little pond with the sun reflecting on the water. Cool vibe and fun decor inside and outside too! Looks like a great place to come with a group for a party. Complimentary chips and (what I assume could only be homemade) salsa, with fresh cilantro and chopped onion. I ordered the shrimp empinadas with an extra side of guacamole. (The dish came with a small side of guacamole and sour cream.) Hubby had steak burritos. Everything was totally delicious! My lunch of shrimp empinadas had 3!!! empinadas, plus rice and refried beans. I was only hungry enough to eat one empinada and had enough food left over to have for two more meals. Hubby could only finish half of his food, and brought the other half home. The yummy sauces, salsa, and the grilling of the proteins before being incorporated into the dishes really set it apart! Seemed to be a family run business and the care and love showed in the freshness of ingredients and attention to flavor profile and complimentary spice level. 😋 The service was terrific and friendly, and the entrées came out to the table piping hot. When I went inside to use the rest room, I even heard a guy inside (who I think was the owner) singing merrily along with the recorded music. There were two parties, one outside and one inside when we arrived, yet we were attended to as if we were the only customers in the restaurant. Highly...

TL:DR - Good, but wow sauce on everything

We ordered take-out on the way back from Delaware River adventures. Phone orders only, as there is no online option. Pickup was quick, and we were in and out rather fast.

First off, every single dish we got was smothered in some kind of sauce: guacamole, sour cream, a cream sauce, "tomato" sauce, or a mix of any of these liquids. The "tomato" sauce was too tangy for one of us, and I can't eat guacamole, so there was significant scraping-off of sauces for us.

The chicken burrito I had was pretty good. The meat was a little spicy (which is just fine with me), and there was plenty to eat. What was a little puzzling is that the burrito was not completely wrapped; it was like a tortilla blanket covering the ingredients. This (and all the sauces) made it impossible to pick up.

The beans and rice we got with almost everything was delicious. They put down a bed of cheese on the bottom of the to-go containers to help keep everything off of the metal. This was really brilliant, useful, and tasty. If all you get here is beans and rice, you will be satisfied.

We had a rather large order, so they very kindly added in salsa and freshly made chips at no charge. The tricolor chips were crispy, warm, and not overly salted. The salsa was refreshingly homemade, and just spicy enough not to overpower our other dishes.

It was a little expensive, but the food was good, so it kind of balances out. Would go here again while in...

Well for a Sunday lunch the place was cold. Not very warming even after being here for 50 minutes. My feet were so cold and my daughter had to put her jacket on her lap to warm up. If you wanted to warm up head to the bathroom. The salsa tastes like ketchup was used in the recipe. We’ll see how the tacos and flatuas come out. Normally the food is ok but quality seems to be going downhill. Have been coming here for the past year.

Well been here 30 mins and still no food. But my food was delivered to the wrong table. And that table took a bite out of the food. I’ll update this with how the food tasted when we finally get served. More to come.

So finally got served and the food is not amazing. I had the flautas de pollo and had to bite off both ends of it. The ends burnt badly and the first bite I took I tasted the burnt oil and chicken. My daughter’s tacos had an ok flavor but nothing to say it was delicious.

If you’re driving through it’s an OK place but don’t expect amazing. Price is a little high for the food quality. But thanks to the way the economy is why we are...

I used to go to this wonderful restaurant when it first opened. I just moved back and went here for the first time in years. Crowded but got seated in 10 mins. Nice atmosphere and super friendly host and attentive wait staff. Started with delicious, fresh made guacamole to go with the chips and salsa on the table. We also ordered a pitcher of margaritas that was super tasty with the salted glasses. Great value! For dinner, I had the marinated skirt steak with rice (should also have black beans, but I don't eat them). My friend enjoyed a beef, shrimp, and chicken fajita dish. Veeeery tasty, she said. She finished with fresh made flan for dessert. Prices are reasonable. Parking is adequate. Folks, if you haven't been here to enjoy a nice lunch or dinner, you must try it. By the way, if you're traveling on Rt 84, it's the first exit in NJ or the last exit before going into PA. You just turn right and go a couple blocks to this great place! EZ on & EZ Off the highway.

Well, based on the pictures from reviews, i ordered Steak Fajita to go. I had never been eaten at the restaurant itself but what came to my house was a totally different thing from the picture posted from someone that ate at the restaurant. The steak taste and look more like stew meat than a grilled steak, it is definitely not a soft steak so i guess that is why they cook it as stew or so, in a soup bow like (which i was not expecting at all). The side of rice and beans are just weird looking. The beans are mashed and it tastes awkward. The rice is regular. The guacamole has no much taste. Overall, it is a really plain taste food weird dull looking if you have a high level palate. I would not order this plate again and so my entire house agreed on so too, which just reinforces all i was thinking quietly while i had the first bites.
