Went to try the burgers. We both ordered the same Smoked Bacon Cheeseburger. We ordered onion rings on the side and had a cup of the Seafood Soup. Burgers - mine had a nice pink center and the smokey flavor from the bacon seemed to permiate the burger. I liked the overall smokey flavor. The bacon on the burgers could have been cooked a little longer to crispy them up. Mine was mostly fat. Loved the Onion Rings! They aren't your typical over battered rings. These were really thing and had just a noticeable crispy floured finish. The Soup. Bad. Not homeade. The potatoes were not cooked well and thus tasted undone. I think there was a few pieces of clam meat. Not recommended. I hear the fish is good but haven't tried it.

We tried the Friday Fish Fry. Food was good. We will definitely be back. We both ordered the 2 PC Fried cod plate. Came with a choice of potato, Cole slaw, baked beans, and hush puppies. It also comes with an optional cup of soup! We decided to go for it. The beef vegetable soup was delicious and reminded me of my grandmothers. Make sure to be hungry. Lots of food. Gave it 4 stars for not having malt vinegar for the fried cod and the texture and flavor were off on the hush puppies. They weren't missed. I highly recommend this hidden gem.

I've been coming to the Fur Fin for as long as I can remember. It has gone through it's ups and downs but it has never been better than it is now with Scott and Jenna in charge. The food is phenomenal (especially the barbecue) and the patio in back has been a great addition. I was recently there for a private event and they could not have been more accommodating. They had more than enough to drink, the pulled pork was some of the best I've ever had and the brisket melted in your mouth. This place is a gem.

Small local joint - the bar-area is larger than the restaurant. Food - plenty of value (lots for the money), and everything tasted good, but 3 of the 4 had the fish fry, and it just wasn't right - got soggy after just 5 minutes. I like my fried fish to have a crunch - the first few bites did, and were very good, but then it started to fall-apart.

The place wasn't very busy (5:30 on a Friday night), with only 2 other occupied tables, so it should have been easy to handle, but our server was young (inexperienced), so we had to ask for things a couple times.

Everything seemed clean, but we were bothered by a few gnats/fruit flies.

Given the other reviews, we had high hopes - unfortunately, they didn't meet...

I went out for Friday Fish Fry and I had a horrible experience. My friend got her food before mine even came out. She was almost done with her food before I got mine. When I got the bill I noticed a few extra charges that I was not informed about. They advertise the cod dinner as 15.99 but if you get baked the charge an additional 2.00. I ask about the extra charge and the bar staff got a little rude. I let them know that they need to advertise the baked cod as 17.99 not 15.99 or let people know when ordering. This was the 1st time I ever had this bad of service and food and I had been going there since I was little. I...
