I had the chance to check out the new breakfast buffet at Stockyards Bar & Grill, and let me tell you—this is how mornings should start!

From the moment I walked in, the smell of sizzling bacon and fresh biscuits pulled me right in. The spread was top-notch: perfectly scrambled eggs, golden hashbrowns with just the right amount of crisp, savory sausage links, and thick-cut bacon that actually has some bite to it. The biscuits and gravy? Comfort food at its finest—rich, peppery, and loaded with sausage chunks. And if you’re after something lighter, the fresh fruit selection was a refreshing balance to the hearty meal.

Everything was hot, fresh, and refilled regularly. You can really tell they care about quality. Plus, the atmosphere was friendly and inviting—felt like a true hometown gem.

Stopped here on a group fundraiser motorcycle ride. It was very busy when we got here with other motorcyclists and luckily we all ordered right away because it was packed within 15 minutes of ordering. For those of us that weren't smart enough to call our order in ahead of time, the wait was a little long, but it was very very busy. I'm definitely not complaining about the service, and the food was excellent and worth the wait. If your planning to stop on a weekend during the summer, definitely call ahead, because I'm pretty sure it's a busy place with motorcyclists on nice...

Great service, very friendly. Nice atmosphere with views of Trempealeau River. We ordered pizza. It was ok. I think it was lacking in tomato sauce, though. Did the cook forget to put it on? I wish restaurants would indicate on the menu when appetizers are frozen and cooked. I wouldn't order if I knew that. Onion rings were a disappointment.
