my review tonight 062519 of the Scott Stapp show ...this is just my opinion take it for what it's worth.
I'm at a show for a better known artist and all I could think was, well nothing! Blank. As in bored. Ready for bed. Home. That pretty much sums up the experience.
I've never been to 1175 before so, a few thoughts....
*the parking in the mud on the grass (women dress up and wear heals) *the climate HVAC settings/control (were talking pass out hot) the lack luster handling of patrons at the door (bottle neck) the configuration of the venue (there were no differences on the floor) (the tables at the rear of venue seemed very odd) *the over crowding of the venue's occupancy seemed well beyond... *the corridors leading to external exits were obstructed by people placing tables, chairs or there bodies in the way
*the long wait between set time (minimum 30 minutes) for an all acoustic show...? *the out and out feeling of being held hostage while other acts which were not on the bill on the web listing play
I literally loathed the experience and now have a absolute disappointed memory. Had never been before tonight and likely hood of returning or recommending is slim.
*the main act starting 2+ hours after posted time on web sites
We have lives, family responsibilities, time frames available. Please don't waste time with long wait times in between.
*the over the top presence of work staff at such a small venue *the ridiculous prices ...
*standing for 3 hours
I'd loved to have just left but your show already extracted $45 + per ticket. Suffered through till the headliner then left after 5 songs.
The sound was ok as we're the lights. No drink, food.
Scott was decent. Probably would have enjoyed his show more at a...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreWe got there as a party of 4 1/2 (my 10 month old is the half haha) and we were seated nearly immediately. We got our beverages and waited an acceptable amount of time to order food.
We ordered our food. I had one question, and it was answered quickly. After placing our orders, we waited a bit for our food. They were fairly busy but we could tell everything was made to order.
I ordered the bbq brisket sandwich. The bun was perfectly toasted. The brisket was amazing. The bbq sauce was better than decent. The bacon was to die for. The tater tots were PERFECT. Crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. We did end up taking some food home (not a common thing).
The server was awesome. She was busy as heck and still managed to provide us with timely service.
The establishment is biker friendly as much as it is family friendly. They even have motorcycle-specific parking.
It was clean and well-lit inside. It got kinda loud, but with the amount of people there, as well as the local radio station having a van there, it was expected.
I would recommend this place, but only if you don't mind paying for quality. Good food comes at a fair, market...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreBiker Friendly. Large parking lot with plenty of room even on a busy Saturday. The bar & restaurant is clean and pretty welcoming. The bar wraps around the entire front of the restaurant and has plenty of room. Food is good. Typical bar food, a bunch of fried appetizers, burgers, couple of salad options, typical bar food that's reasonably priced. I ordered a salad and it had the potential of being VERY good; however, they used the limpest greens in the salad (a Spring Mix). If they want to use inexpensive greens, they should at least use a hearty lettuce ALSO for 1/2 the mix (romaine is best, inceberg is okay too). Using all Spring Mix makes for a pretty limp salad that is difficult to fork. The presentation on the food is pretty and it is clear they care about what they serve. The service was REALLY friendly and attentive enough without being OVER-attentive. It's also surprisingly NOT loud so having a conversation at the bar is possible. I would definitely recommend to bikers, couples, families and it feels like they all...
