Cousin’s Cafe Wood Fired Pizza — Restaurant in Town of Dover

Alrighty Now!! So we were leaving the beautiful area of Wingdale NY & decided to take 55 out to pick up this coffe if we ran into. Unfortunately that didn't happen. As we passed this spot that my hubby happened to stop in the other day and bragged so much about, I wanted to stop in really because I was looking fir a decent breakfast. So we pull over, walk in & I immediately start to hve a conniption. Theyvhad every kind ofvsweet you could imgine. The younglady at the front was busy hustling the fresh made coffe & I assume the owner was in back prepping for the days meals he would definitely sell. So we look around & Bam I spot something that could be fritters but its not, its Bread Pudding. But I order my breakfast first, homefries, soft eggs & bacon with rye toast. That was so good think I ate it too fast for a photo will check. Then my hubby oders the pecan strudel I think which was ridiculously made with love!!. So as I walked to the counter to pay for breakfast I decide on getting the bread pudding & hubby throws in a apple danish as well🙄🙄 All I can say is that I should hve purchased 2 if those puddings. They were just right nit overly sweet just perfect. I did share 2 slices with my neighbors & as I devour the last piece I wish that I had waited.😩😩 So I give Cafe Cousins 2 thumbs up & a snap. Looking to return very soon...

I've been to this place 3 times already, and each time was great!! All 3 times, I got the same thing. A large Mona Lisa Pizza with a side of Garlic Knots. And each time I got them it was great! The Mona Lisa is a pizza with smoked mozzarella, caramelized, roasted onions, and Fennel Sausage. The pizza has tons of flavor, and they even put fresh garlic on it upon my request, and it made it even better!! 😋 The garlic knots are great, too!! A very nice fresh taste with the tastes of garlic, olive oil, oregano, and parsley. I tend to add grated cheese and some more herbs to mine since that's the way I like them. 😋 I also got to meet the owner, whose name is Michael. He's awesome!! Very nice and a blast to talk to! If you've got any questions or concerns, Michael is more than happy to listen to and answer them. He's very social, too! I saw him ask a few kids if they wanted to come up and help add cheese to the pizza they ordered! Super cool!! Plus, it adds an interactive experience to a delicious time. 😊 This, in my opinion, is one of the best Pizzerias in the area!! Come here for great...

Stopped in here after making an early morning drop off at the train station on this frigid December morning 12/27/24. The atmosphere is nice, the bakery and pizza selections sound delicious. I ordered a sausage egg and cheese and a roll and grab the small black coffee.. only took a few minutes and the sandwich was delicious. Can't wait to come back and try some of their Pizza selections!

Stopped in here again on Wednesday February 5th and tried a few pizza slices which only took a few minutes to warm and serve.. I ordered one chicken bacon ranch and one sausage and pepperoni and they were both fabulous, the crust, sauce and toppings were excellent with the stars of the show being the crust and cheese.
