I am a stormville native and my parents and I have made this place our go-to since they opened. They have been awesome, until recently when I drove home from Boston to pick up 2 pies. Trust me when I tell you, I could not wait for some NY pizza! Well, I got to my parents’ and opened the box and it look as awesome as it usually does. The pizza was unevenly cooked and when we tried it, it was so salty that my Dad and I threw our slices in the garbage. I NEVER write bad reviews but I made an exception because I called, giving them a chance to fix the issue and they told me they would “monitor” the situation. What?! How does that help us? My mom was so stunned, she called them to nicely clarify and they asked her “well, did you eat it?”. To which my mom responded, yes we had a few bites which is how we knew it wasn’t what we were used to! We asked if they had changed ingredients…they did not respond. We gave them a chance to make it right and they did not. We were told our card would be refunded, 6 days later, nothing has been refunded. We will NOT be returning and our sad that our go-to NY pizza place has treated good customers in...
Read moreAmazing pizza, affordable prices, nice to AT hikers. There is both a pizza shop and a food mart. Get pizza for lunch and get a deli sandwich to go for dinner on the trail. They very kindly double-wrapped mine cuz I still had some miles to go today. I’d say that the market could use a bit more diversity of stock (single serve items like instant coffee sticks, peanut butter packets), as well as a vastly expanded ramen selection. Individual packets are better than cups and there are so many more options now! Haha. And more loose beer options. But I’m just being picky now. Prices are good too. Definitely visit this place! They hooked it up for a perfect mid-day break from the trail and it’s a very easy 0.3mi...
Read moreThis is my official “best pizza Ive ever had in the states”!! Antonio is a magician, not to mention being from Italy, being very generous and letting us stay behind the restaurant in a grass lot for hikers, filling our water bottles, giving us some of his daughters birthday cake because he didn’t have gelato that day, making us an amazing breakfast sandwich, ACTUAL espresso, just being an all around nice individual with a lovely family and I’m sure I’m forgetting something.
His family was in the restaurant that day and his daughter made me a picture! I had to stop back in when my hike as done just to eat some more pizza. Can’t recommend this place enough. You will not be...
