Hands down the BEST Mexican restaurant I have ever been to. No joke.
The meat is juicy and tender, not to mention beautifully seasoned. I donât live anywhere near Casa Reyes and Iâd consider driving out there simply for the food.
You remember those meals that would make you smile when you ate them? Thatâs the feeling I get with Casa Reyes. I will say that because I get this feeling there, going to other Mexican restaurants is such a complete letdown- I find myself asking âwhy bother eating this? Itâs not like Casa Reyesâ. Youâve ruined me for life, Casa Reyes. RUINED! But⊠in a great way!
Try the nachos with al pastor- UGH so freaking amazing. I always get the nachos and the barbacoa tacos with rice and beans. Even their rice and beans are TOP NOTCH.
The family that owns this restaurant are hard workers, friendly, and SKILLED.
I canât recommend this place enough- go to Casa Reyes! YOU. WILL....
Read moreThis place has been around for years, so I finally decided to give it a try. My first attempt failed because they were closed due to a maintenance issue. On my second attempt, I walked in to place an order and was met by a frazzled, rude woman who barked at me to take my order. I went with a burritoâfigured that was a safe choice for a first visit.
I chose to eat outside, but when I opened it up, it was sloppy, falling apart, with barely any meat and absolutely smothered in sour cream. I asked if it could be remade, but was told Iâd have to reorder. No thanks.
The restaurant that used to be here was phenomenalâhuge subs, great value, and excellent food. I honestly donât understand what residents of Easton/Greenwich are raving about with this place. Save yourself the disappointment: drive the extra 45 minutes to an hour to Albany for real...
Read moreGreat place for a quick informal Mexican meal. The menu isn't extensive but it has the basics like tacos, burritos, flautas, and nachos. I had the flautas, which are called taquitos in other places. They were freshly made as evident by the toothpick hole keeping the rolled corn tortillas filled with chicken closed while it fried. Adorable decor, wish I'd taken some pics of the inside and the cute salt and pepper shakers. Restroom is a portapotty outside but they allowed me to wash my hands at the employee sink. That's the only reason for 4 stars and not 5. It's not handicap accessible and it didn't have...
