New owners renovated the Old Mill Race Inn and opened a little over a monthish ago. We stopped by on a Monday night and had a delicious sausage pizza and some brandy old fashions. As a native Wisconsinite I have never liked that drink until the one Kelly made my husband, it was so good I had to order 2 myself. They kept the original lighting, flooring and bar top and embedded the Old Mill Race Inn sign into the ceiling over the bar. Really nice nod to the history of the place. We meet the owner Dave (notdavefoss) who owned a bar in the Milwaukee area previously and clearly really cares about making a special place in the community to come and share some great food, have a drink, watch a game, meet with family and friends etc. They said they are expanding the menu soon to include stuff like Friday night fish fry, burgers, prime rib etc. We met the chef Butch as well who has a lot of experience and I can't wait to try out the expanded menu when it launches! Also looking forward to visiting earlier to check out the view of the lake. I took a bunch of photos at the end of the night to show my brother who was friends with the previous owner's family what they've done with the place - they have a lot of great spaces! Special thanks to Kelly for being the best bartender/mixologist and creating some experimental tasting shots for us to try! We would highly recommend this place and are so glad it opened up super close to our house. Love that it is owned by a husband and wife (Rachel) team! A new gem in...

We stopped in for some drinks while in town for a Dells trip. A Brewer game was on and they had some fun deals/games. Bartender was attentive and friendly. Owner was very personable. It has cool decor, a beautiful view of the water, and a great vibe overall. Feels like your favorite northwoods bar from the 70’s with a freshness to it. We would definitely recommend...

Great atmosphere, phenomenal owners and extremely supportive of local small business.

It's great to see the place coming back to life with such vibrant enthusiasm and outstanding management.

Thanks and we look forward to coming back for some more of that...
