The Outpost Bar & Grill of Eden — Restaurant in Town of Eden

Pleasant enough atmosphere with a bar and eating area plus pool table, patio, and game nook. A friendly bartender/server. I ordered the Bacon and 3 Cheese Philly on a Hoagie. I was surprised and disappointed that it was a chopped sirloin patty, being the menu stated Philly beef. (I asked the bartender after I got the item). My friend ordered a ribeye sandwich to-go, AND it also came with the ground sirloin! What a disappointment to get home expecting a ribeye steak and get ground meat (I don’t care if it’s ground tenderloin, it’s still GROUND!!) Please notify customers if the ingredients aren’t what’s inferred on the menu! It’d be easy to say, “I’m sorry, we don’t have the Philly beef, or ribeye steak. Instead we’re using ground sirloin,” I’m not sure I’d come back because I paid $12.50 for what turned out to be a bacon cheeseburger with grilled onions...

So many people go on about how great this place is and I am just not that impressed. The food is ok, decent but nothing too spectacular. The staff was the killer for me. Went in there with a few other people and it was not busy at all. The staff seemed more concerned with the few people at the bar than they did us. It took 10 min before she even came over to get our order, seemed very irritated we there. Took another 10 min just to get our drinks (which mainly consisted of water) and then it took another 25 to get our food. She never came back to see if we needed a refill and never once smiled. Not sure what happened as I have been here before and it was never quite this bad. I would have tanked lower but again, I have had a better experience...

Omg, I don't even know what to say about this establishment. Today was our 2nd time there and was once again BLOWN AWAY!!! I ordered the stuffed haddock and it was beyond a 10/10, the German potato salad and coleslaw are homemade. My wife ordered the haddock and bluegill plate, exceptional!! Besides the phenomenal food and prices, the bartenders are awesome. Michelle was on duty today and was very welcoming. There was a Heather sighting, and if that doesn't make you smile your in the wrong place. We got to meet the owner Pam and were really humbled by her charm. Finally, the clientele is hilarious and aren't afraid to give bear hugs on your departure. Tim the truck driver, Butch and the other Tim should hold comic...
